    Am I too tall?

Is there a height limit for the I-Flex JR? I am about 5'7 and was just wondering if I should get this one or the regular I-Flex?

The I-FLex and the Jr both measure 8'10" in length. The only difference is the Jr is portable whereas the I-Flex will need to be mounted to the door and is more permanent.
    - DDS Customer Service (11/21/2014)

Nope! It doesn't matter, just sling it over the top of a tall door! - Zipperproblems (09/27/2015)

Can this i flex jr be used by a 6 year old?

Because of the portability of the I-FLEX JR, it can be more easily used by smaller dancers. The height of the unit is determined by the height of the door you use it with. The strap measures 8'10" in length.

    Wall or ceiling

does this hang from the ceiling or wall????????????????????????????

The I-Flex Jr hooks on the top of most doors. When the door is closed, it keeps the unit from shifting to allow stretching.
    - DDS Customer Service (04/18/2014)

It actually hangs from a door, and is really easy to "install" and move. - Ballerinagirl2058 (07/10/2014)

What is the differrence bettween the I-FLEX and the I-FLEX JR.?

I am 13 years old but I am 5'8" should I purchase the regular or the junior?

The difference between the 2 is the I-Flex Jr. attaches to a door and the I-Flex bolts to a wall.
    - DDS Customer Service (02/25/2014)

Height doesn't matter for this product, you'll just need a tall door. The I-Flex Jr. is portable, while the I-Flex is mounted on a wall. That's the only difference. - Zipperproblems (03/09/2016)

    Height interference

Hello, I'm 5'8 1/2- 5'9, skinny with verryy long legs. I just want to make sure that my height and long legs will not really interfere with how this works. That it will still get my flexibility where I need/want it to be :) thank you!

Since this item attaches to your door, it will depend on how tall your door is. Based on normal door heights, you shouldn't run into any problems.

    Damage

Hi! I have been looking for a way to increase my flexibiliy, and this looks really cool! But my question is, can this damage your door?

depending on how much weight is being used, it should not damage your door if used properly.

    does this strengthen back muscles?

Need to improve my arabesque. will this help?

The stretch unit is not primarily used to assist back muscles.
    - DDS Customer Service (05/15/2013)

It may not strengthen them, but it does stretch them. You can use it to help with your arabesque. - Sharonj (07/30/2013)

What are the suggested heights for the I-Flex and the I-Flex Jr.?

I am trying to decide which one to buy.

There is no height differential between the I-Flex and the I-Flex Jr. The difference is that the I-Flex is a large metal box that weighs more and hooks more secure to the door. The I-Flex Jr. is more portable and allows a smaller dancer to hook the unit more conveniently, most likely without additional help.

What kind of door exactly does it NOT fit on?

I really want to make sure before I make this purchase.

This will fit on any standard size door.
    - DDS Customer Service (02/05/2013)

This item is just basically a mini strap which you fit over your door and close then you attach the long strap inside a ring. Since it's not very thick, I think it can fit on any door. The regular i-flex may be limited since I think that one has a metal bracket that you put over the door. - Juana (03/01/2013)

What is the maximum suggested height of the dancer who uses the I-Flex Jr model?

    Does this help flexible people

Im flexible alot in my left and kinda in my right is it gonna help still even if i am flexible??

When used properly this item should help you maintain your flexibility and increase your fexibility.
    - DDS Customer Service (10/29/2012)

It depends. I'm flexible too (I can do my right split and very close to center and left,) however this helps because it stretches when the hips are squared and legs parallel. - Curlie (11/20/2012)
