ONLY FOR VERY LITTLE DANCERS!
These tights run extremely small and are oddly shaped. My 8-year-old daughter wears an I or M in dancewear, but these tights in size L were too short (not sure if the rise or the legs are the main issue). My kid is average height and quite slender so we were surprised that she couldn't comfortably pull them all the way up around her waist.
We'll stick with the Capezio tights that have been serving us well in terms of comfort and durability! It was worth trying these because they cost so much less, but they are sadly unusable.

WAIST VERY TIGHT COMPARED TO THE LEGS
Bought these for my 8 year old. The length was fine, but the waistband was very tight in comparison. Unless your child is underweight I would def size up.

PRETTY COLOR/TOO SMALL
This is my first Theatricals purchase. We love the "ballet pink" shade in this brand. It's a very pretty color and they match the Capezio Hanami stretch canvas ballet slippers nicely. They're not a perfect match, but they're pretty close and they look good together. The pink is not too pale, and they're not too nude or have too much beige in them. They're not too pink or too bright either, and they're not that weird pinky-orange spray tan shade like some other brands sell (Capezio's ballet pink comes to mind). Shade aside, these tights are extremely small. My girl is 10 years old, 58½" tall, 75 pounds, and has a 24" waist and 30" hips. She normally wears a size 12 in street clothes, and she wears a size large in most girls tights, including Bloch, Mariia, Stelle, So Danca, etc. She can wear a child's M/L (c 8-12) in Capezio tights, and she even wore a child's size medium (M) tights in Weissman brand to her recital last month. So I find it odd that she can't fit into this brand. Not even close! Her measurements fall well within the height/weight guidelines on the size chart, but the waistband is too small and doesn't stretch much and the convertible feet openings are too tight/small and they're not as stretchy as what we're used to. Plus, I couldn't even pull the tights up more than 2" above her knees no matter how hard I pulled from the bottom/feet. They were just stuck. I thought I was going to rip them, and then they started to get ugly vertical lines in them from pulling so hard. I gave up. They cannot be exchanged or returned, so keep that in mind when ordering tights from D.D. (the same with a lot of dancewear companies). If I had to guess, I'd say that the large child Theatricals tights would fit the average 6-8 year old nicely. To be safe, I recommend sizing up one size. They're a good price, especially when you find them on sale and can get free shipping, so if you can find a size that fits, then I suggest grabbing a few pairs in this color. Hope this helps.

RUN SUPER SMALL
I went by both size charts and my daughter was clearly in the middle of a size medium according to one chart, somewhat down to intermediate in another. I went with the medium just in case and to possibly provide growing room. She tried them on and they're a joke. She's fairly slim and these dug horribly into her waist. The crotch barely reached where it should and she said it felt extremely uncomfortable. This was my first experience with DD and not sure where to go from here unless it's name brand.

INSANELY SMALL!
Based on the size chart provided on the product page my daughter was just on the small sizing and was worried they would be too big. Instead they are insanely short in the leg. I had her try on a pair and the crotch gusset was stuck about halfway down her thigh because of how short the leg was. We ended up with a small hole at the top edge of the gusset due to it being stretched so far. I guess it's back to the Capezio footed tights I've been using forever. I'm not willing to try going up another size in this product because it will probably be too short still.

PRETTY GOOD
I ordered the Prima Pink color, and it's beautiful. It fit me perfectly, and they were really comfy and soft!! I wore them twice while doing a ballet barre, and I put them on for a third time, and noticed a rip in the tights. This was a disappointment to me, but to be fair they were only 5 dollars, so overall, I like them but I'll be switching to a different brand.

GREAT FOR TODDLERS AND YOUNG BALLERINAS
I have purchased these tights again, so I could have multiple pairs!! They are so great, my girl had no problems rolling them up and down, and make travel to and from ballet camp a breeze!! They do 'pill' pretty quickly, after handwashing, but they still hold up and look very good when worn.

VERSATILE TIGHTS
We are grateful for these tights. They have been affordable and versatile. We purchase a new pair for all recitals then my daughter wears that pair for the remainder of the semester. The footing is easy to remove from her feet to walk through the halls when going through costume changes and put back on for dance routines.

SOFT BUT WISH THEY WERE OFFERED IN A XL FOR CHILDREN OR XS FOR ADULTS
My daughter loves the feel of these tights. However, I ordered the L because that was the biggest size available and they are a bit short for her. According to the back of the package, they should fit, but she couldn't get the crotch of the tights up past her thighs without taking her feet out of the tight's feet. Also, she feels that the hole in the bottom of the tights is too small - she was afraid of ripping them while converting them to footless. Wish these were available in a larger child's size or smaller adult size (they only offer adult S-L, no XS).

I LOVE THESE TIGHTS!
These tights are affordable, hold up well, and fit well. I run them through the washer in a delicate bag and hang to dry. The biggest issue is her ankle weights sometimes snag them. But at 3-4 each, it's not bad to replace them.

These are very nice tights, very comfortable. But when I got my pair of tights, it came it bit small, but it still fit because I am a small as well. I would suggest buying a size bigger then what you really need. However, in the end, I would recommend this.

NICE PRICE. NICE TIGHTS. CONVERTIBLE HOLE IS TOO BIG
My daughter loves that her tights are convertible. However, she finds the hold to convert them to footless is too big so that when she puts on the toe part the hole goes up her heel making for some uncomfortable heel rub. Other than that, she loves them.

My daughter has always been rough on her tights. Used to buy more expensive brands thinking they'd last longer. Bought these when the other brand was out of stock in her size. These have lasted way longer than the other brand ever did and small holes don't immediately turn into large runs. And, my daughter loves the way they fit, which is great because she has sensitive skin and is very picky about what brands she'll wear.
