Orem,UTWe've found these turners to be of high quality and the students enjoy wearing them. The colors are a little off though. We've ordered most of the colors and none of them really match the dancers' skintones. Overall, I'd recommend though!

Baltimore,MDSo happy to find lyrical shoes in brown and that don't have the strap around the back but they are too big. My pinky toes are totally covered and the size chart says 8.5-12 is a large so as someone who wears a 10.5 I thought I'd be fine. They are soft and cushy but definitely won't stay on my feet during any type of activity.

Broadlands,VAI don't know if I did not get the right size or not, but they did not stay on my feet very long during class. The material was quite thick which was ok for comfort but not good for dancing in them.

Knoxville,TNMy daughter wears these for both Acro and Lyrical. They are her favorite shoes out of the 3 she wears this year (the others being arabesque turning shoes and ballet slippers)!

10/20/2015These are great quality for the price.
Check colors before you order.
I ordered 'Suntan' after reading reviews. I teach in the Northwoods and Suntan is only if you tan every day or are naturally dark. Go with nude for a more pale look.

09/29/2015The half soles stay on my daughter's feet (which we were worried about) and causes ease in her movements on the dance floor.

02/04/2015Most modern paws, undeez or soles don't last. These are thick, a little too thick between the toes but last for so long!

09/09/2014This is the first shoe for my lyrical class that I love! I have been dancing for a while. I am a size 10 and ordered the large, but ended up swapping with a friend for a medium since the end of the shoe was covering my pinky toe and the shoe kept falling off. These shoes are great for turns!

08/25/2014I am a social dancer, not a performance dancer, so I can't tell you anything about what these do to your foot lines. I am a minimally-tanned caucasian, and the Sun color is just darker than my skin. I am a size 7.5 shoe and a medium was definitely the right choice. They are tight but not uncomfortably so, meant to hold on to your foot and not come off during turns. The extra padding in these shoes makes them very comfortable, suitable for low-impact long nights of dancing (in my case).

08/10/2014Love how thick these are. It really helps to keep from getting floor burns on the tops of my feet. I wear a size 5-6 and ordered a small and they fit great.

07/07/2014I bought these to wear for a barefoot scene in a show as I was recovering from foot surgery. I was looking intentionally for something thick/slightly bulky to pad my scar tissue, and this really fit the bill! As other reviewers said, the sizes seem a bit small- I bought the Large and I wear a 7.5/8 and they fit well. My only complaint about them is how they pull in between my big toe and other toes, but I'm not sure if that's something that could ever be fixed. I definitely am keeping them and using them. These are NOT thin or invisible, and are made of the same type of material like a velcro knee-brace, but theyre REALLY substantial and well-made.

06/03/2014I got this pair in hopes that it would help my turns and not cause my feet to stick to the floor as similar pairs have done. In that perspective, these are great. My only problem is that they fall off every time I dance. I relied on other reviews and went with the large (I wear a size 8). I definitely wish that I had gotten the medium instead.

05/03/2014I use to always get Capezio footundeez and they NEVER lasted me very long. A pair would probably last me a month. (maybe two sometimes if I'm lucky)
When I first received the Footnote Neoprene I was a little annoyed because they were small and fit VERY tight around my foot, it was a little uncomfortable. But as I started wearing them for the first week they stretched out a little and now fit perfectly! The first pair I got I still have and are still usable. These are great if you're looking for something durable and long lasting.
My street shoe size is a 7.5-8 and so I got the medium. I do have very narrow feet, so I recommend getting a size bigger than recommended if you don't.

01/03/2014They fit great and were super comfortable, but start sliding off the second I began to dance. Stopping every 8 counts to adjust them isn't an option (obviously) so wearing them in a performance is out of the question.

12/03/2013These little sandals are a favorite of my students because of the comfort and durability. There are no straps that break or get stretched out and the cushioning prevents stress on the bottom of the foot when in demi-point. They are used by my modern, lyrical and belly dance students.

09/17/2013I have 8 yr old twins in lyrical so this was a great sale price with having to buy double everything! They wear a size 2.5 in girls shoes and I ordered these in small. They seem to fit well, a little tight at first, but they stretch.

06/13/2013This shoe has more cushion than similar shoes, and doesn't seem to twist or need readjusted as often as some other lyrical shoes! It doesn't breathe as well so it can get a little warm, though. Other than that, a great shoe.

04/19/2013After wearing foot-eez for some time these are so comfortable in comparison. They are cushy, cozy, snug - but not tight, and well made. I would recommend these over the toe-kinis or footeez any day. Just wish they came in more colors. I wear an 8.5 street size shoe, and the medium fit perfectly

03/29/2013It's not that they're not comfortable, but you can definitely find better. They're slightly larger than they look in the picture and don't turn as great because of it. May be a bit cushier, but I feel like cushiness isn't as much of a priority as being able to turn.

11/03/2012When I first got these, they were good until after about a month, then the stitching started to come off and the padding underneath to help you turn ended up being pushed too far back because they stretch as you use them. The padding also becomes rough so it becomes more difficult to turn and many times it gets stuck against the floor and moves around on your foot, throwing you off balance. I usually end up taking these off. If you do end up getting a pair of these, I suggest getting a size smaller of what the sizing chart says because I got the size I did because I am a male dancer and assumed the chart was based on female sizes. (I got a large with a size 10 foot). I do not recommend to anyone, I plan on replacing them soon.

09/11/2012I listened to all the reviews, and thankfully got size medium even though I usually get small. Even medium is just right.. maybe a little squished. I wear a size 6 in street shoes. The worst thing though- is the color. It's almost an orange tint.. but also really pale so they look like large bandages. My skin isn't even overly dark or anything.. And I also compared these to my paler friend's skin. I'm not sure if I want to wear these to dance...

09/02/2012These are far more durable that Capezio Foot Undeez, so that's a plus.... Don't know if I'll be buying more but if I do I will buy one size bigger. I wear a size seven in womens and the medium was too small. Also the color is a bit orangey... :/

06/11/2012I got these for an upcoming performance and they're great! I am a street shoe size 6, but I have wide feet, so I ordered the medium and they fit perfectly. I love how cushiony they are, and they stay on well without being too tight.

06/04/2012I like these! They're affordable, comfortable and don't slip off during performances. They're a sort of cushy material, which I like, but might take some getting used to if you're used to dance paws. The color also works well for me (I have light medium-yellow-toned skin). I wear a size 8, medium width and the size Mediums fit perfectly. The large size slips off a little on me, so I prefer the mediums. I can't say much for the durability as I haven't had them too long.

01/14/2012My daughters love these shoes! They have more cushion than similar shoes like footundeez or bear paws, are more durable, and run true to size. They also wash up nicely. I throw them in my washer on delicate and then let them air dry.
