I use these for ballroom dance practice and they are great. I don't like dancing in high heels anymore, these heels are sturdy enough for ballroom dancing, waltz, tango, fox trot, Viennese waltz and quickstep. I have worn them over a year with no signs of wearing out, they are comfortable and my feet don't hurt. I love these shoes and that I no longer have to pay 200 dollars every time I need new dance shoes.

Asgaard1302/12/2018GREAT SHOES FOR SOCIAL DANCE PRACTICE
First time buying these types of shoes. Great for social dance practice such as rumba, salsa, cha cha, WCS, night club 2 step, hustle. The suede bottom is perfect for tight follower turns. Bought in pink which goes with my boot cut slacks in black or white. Would not recommend for Waltz or Tango which need a sturdier shoe and more heel. Would not recommend wearing with dresses.

Go easy on the heel!!02/16/2017
The shoe looks great. It's flattering. The shoe feels great. It's soft on the vamp, the heel is just the right height, and it's so flexible. HOWEVER- my heels have BOTH broken off at one point. I have had these a while, and they weren't used to a good portion of that time, but breaking them back out now for leading rehearsals, I have lost both heel within a week of one another. I have re-attached them , but it really is frustrating. Part of this is because the insole is SO flexible, which is great for showing off your arch... but not so great when your foot comes down at JUST the wrong angle and the heel pops off! So, be careful with them, or check them every time you wear them before you end up losing a heel in the middle of a combination!!

Pea7708/25/2015NOT WORTH IT!
My daughter wears a size 2 child... we ordered her a 4 adult and she couldn't get them on her feet! When we finally got her a size that fit... the seams wore sore spots in her feet.. Then after classes the buckle started to come undone...

Michlele11/21/2014GREAT TEACHING SHOE
Comfortable and makes your foot look great. I wear a shoe size 7-1/2 - I ordered the 7's and they were too small - so I got the next size up. I suggest that you order 1/2 size up from your street shoe, this way you wont have to return it for the next size.

NuttyCracker09/13/2014WON'T STAY ON FOOT
The shoe feels very nice and is comfortable until you try to turn - the shoe stays and your foot comes out. Also the neoprene starts to mold to your toes and looks bad.

Lauran09/06/2014GOOD SHOE FOR PRICE
Great shoe for the money. The toe is very comfy. The buckle sits a bit high a rubs my ankle. I hope once they are broken in, that goes away. Shoe fits true to size. The sole of the shoe under the toe seems a bit large and sticks out, but that doesn't bother me. It just looks funny.

bethann08/13/2014"BAREFOOT" FEELING, LONG VAMP, NICE TAN
Not a bad teaching shoe, however, I would not recommend it for teaching ballet classes. The neoprene is very thin all around, so I can really "feel the floor," but it's to the point where I almost feel barefoot. Also, the vamp is very long covering most of my foot and arch.
I am olive complexion and the tan/caramel color is a nice match. Runs true to size. I usually wear BLOCH Elastosplit Grecian Leather Teaching Sandal and while this is a less expensive option, I will probably go back to the BLOCH shoe next time.

EvaEva06/18/2014THIS SHOE IS THE BOMB. THE B O M B.
I can dance in this shoe all day and all night. I used my street size for my dance shoe - - works great. I have narrower feet than average.
I have tried Bloch's Grecian split sole....and tore up the tops of my toes. Also, the shoe did not offer enough of the support I wanted, and the suede sole stuck too much to the composite floor - - I know - it doesn't seem like it should, but it did.
I have also tried the So Danca jazz shoe, which also had a leather vamp. Hurt my poor feet!!!
By contrast, this awesome awesome, did I say AWESOME? shoe is the perfect blend of comfort and enough support.
The entire sole of the vamp is suede which makes the surface much better to dance on (in contrast to every other shoe I have tried) - I get use of my entire front of my foot - rather than just a suede section under the balls of my toes, which creates pressure points that I don't need or want.
The neoprene vamp is a godsend, and blessings on whoever thought of it. The leather more sturdy heel and rest of the shoe give the solidity that I need when doing 90 minutes of hard core Samba. (not ballroom, but the actual national dance).
This is my go to shoe from now on.
This shoe must be tried to be believed.
I admit that I have not worn it for a while, so I cannot say with certainty that I know it will last, but it feels very much like a quality shoe that will stand up to heavy use. I have the tan coloured ones. I am buying them in pink today.

SuperSara05/20/2014RUNS SMALL
I got a couple for my team and they ran about 2 sizes small. My little sister is a size 3 in her regular shoe & was a 5 on these. Hope this helps!
Just received these in the mail today(quick shipping, only 4 days!) and I think I am going to really like them! I ordered them in black. They feel very comfy and lightweight. They run a little small, as I usually wear a 10 in a street shoe, but I take an 11 in this. I had previously ordered the Sansha "Diva" teaching sandal, in size 11, but it ran extremely small and I had to return them(I would say they felt like a sz. 9.5 on my foot, my toes were rather scrunched!). I prefer the neoprene on this "Venus ll" shoe as it is much more soft, stretchy & comfy compared to the leather of the "Diva" teaching sandal. In my opinion, these also seem of better quality than the "Diva" shoe. Looking forward to dancing in my new "Venus ll" dance shoes! :-)
