BEST WAISTBAND
All my other tights dig in my waist and go super high. The waistband on this is perfect. I've had my first pair for 6 months worn twice a week and no runs! I'm 5'5 and 105 pounds and the small fits perfectly. The shade of pink is great too, not orangey at all. More of a Russian Pointe color

I'm 5'2 & weighing about 115-120. I ordered these tights & they are too snug. I will be giving them to my 12 yo niece, who is also a dancer. Beautiful, the color was perfect, and they seem durable.

There are excellent quality tights. Thick, soft and beautiful! We chose S/M and it fits nicely (115lb and 5'3).

I was under the impression these tights were opaque and when i tried them on it was rather obvious that they were not! since I am a guy this is kind of a problem but i solved it by wearing bike shorts over them overall i like them!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
These are by far my favorite tights to wear! I have tried many brands and these are the most comfortable by far! I both teach and take classes and these are the only brand I will wear now for long dance days... the waist band is wonderful and doesn't ride up or squeeze your hips so you don't have an indent under your leotard where the band is. Highly recommend to every dancer!

EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED
I've worn the same pair of these tights through several rehearsals and three performances. They are very comfortable and very durable. My only negative is the hole for the transition part stretches out too quickly. I may have to replace these only because the opening has started creeping over the edges of my feet.

BEST TIGHT'S EVER!
I love these tights... They have a perfect waist band, that does not dig into you. They are super soft and make your legs look perfect! My favorite tights for sure. :O) I would recommend these tights to everyone!

I'm pretty pale in my skin tone, but it's difficult to tell from the boxes which beige color is lighter. Please help.

Trying to determine which would be better for my daughter.
The hip rider actually falls slightly lower than the low rise. The hip rider stays on the hips and does not come up on the waist at all, while having a V-front elastic waist band. The low rise also has a 1" plush waist band (instead of being basic elastic) - DDS Customer Service (05/22/2013)
