Adult Pirouette II Leather Lyrical Shoes

My daughter's competition team required these shoes for one of her routines, she typically wears the canvas version and very much prefers those. I would recommend getting one size bigger than you think you'll need.

The leather ones tend to get scratched up and don't look as nice when they lose some of the color. They also don't stay on well for long periods.

This is a beautiful shoe, perfect nude color to match the skin. My daughter complained at first about the seam in the bottom. Order a size up from the chart. My 9 year old daughter wears street size 3, and we ordered ladies small. They fit perfectly.

We purchased these for my 12 year old dancer daughter... holes in both toe areas after just a short time of use! Really? Yes..,. nails are clipped and all the things we should be doing for these to last more than a month of use? She uses them about twice to three times a week and one competition weekend. Done. Step up your game Capezio... I realize these shoes are inexpensive but they should last a little longer in my opinion!

Yes these are comfortable and the pointed foot looks great in them but you literally will have a hole after three wears. I DO NOT let my daughter practice in these. For competitions only....heed my word!

These shoes run crazy small. My daughter wears a childs 2.5 - 3 in street shoes and the ladies XS were to small for her.

My daughter, as well as others in their studio, bought these to match in a Lyrical small group. After one wear, the toe area was giving. By a third wear, my daughters toe is about to go through, as are others. Yes, they clip their nails. But, for the price, and few numbers of uses, they should hold up. The leather is too thin/flimsy.

We ordered these because we have a pair of leather ballet slippers that first her sister wore, and then she has worn, and they are still going strong. We're talking a couple of times a week for 5 years without a tear or discoloration. I wish all shoes were like those. After one practice, the leather pirouettes began to discolor - hard. So she just used them for practice. Then in short order, there was a hole and she could no longer use them at all. Now we're back to canvas and looking for a pair that fits correctly.

Had gotten these not too long ago. Took me a while to get used to the feel of them but they were soft and pliable. Had them for maybe 3 months (wear them twice a week for an hour each day) and THEY SPLIT in the middle of rehearsal. I had a small hole and it didn't even split there, it split down the middle. Had to run and grab my old pair from my car. Don't recommend these to people who need to wear them a lot.

After wearing only once a week for 7 weeks in an hour long jazz class, these have a dime sized hole in one shoe, with the other not far behind. Don't waste your money.

These shoes fell apart within 3 months of wear. I have never purchased a pair of shoes that were such poor quality. This happened to many of the dancers who also purchased these shoes who are on my daughters line.

These shoes are great for pirouettes and dancing in general. However, they run way too small. I wear a size 9-10 street shoe and had to buy the XL. The sizing chart is wayyy off, seeing as XL is recommended for size 12-13 feet! After I stretched out the shoes by wearing big socks they were great. However, after dancing in them for only 2-3 months, a hole ripped in the toe. The material is incredibly thin and flimsy and the shoes look like I've been dancing in them for years!! Sizing and quality needs to be fixed for these shoes!!

The sizing on the chart supplied by the company is not correct. I suggest finding the size on the chart then going up a size. My daughter wears a size 6 street shoe and the medium fits her snugly. (Chart suggests she wear a small.) They seem to be made well and are wearing as well as the other leather lyrical shoes we've had in the past.

These turners are soft and comfortable. I ordered the correct size according to the chart, but they are very small. I've only worn thema couple of times and they are wearing out already. I ordered the leather ones because I thought they would last longer than the canvas ones....but they don't.

Love the nude color compared to other shoes but sizing is WAAAAY off...ordered a whole bunch based on size chart and everyone had to go up a size...and trying these again...in the past have had trouble with them falling apart, however because we like the color so much, giving them a second chance, but again, BEWARE OF SIZE!

I absolutely love these shoes! They are fantastic for doing turns and they fit to my feet perfectly and make my arches look gorgeous. They also match my skin tone perfectly, but I am extremely pale, so it might not match people who are a little tanner. I would also recommend that you order a size bigger. I wear a size 9-10 street shoe, and I got the extra larges and they fit perfectly.

My daughter loves how this shoe fits, but the quality is poor. During her FIRST time wearing the shoe for a private lesson, the pigment/dye chipped off the top of the foot and toe of the shoe leaving behind two bright white spots. This makes me question whether the shoe is actually leather. Given the price, I would not recommend this product.

equivalent to a 4-5 shoe size please help!

The child size 2.0 would be equivalent to an adult 4.0 and the XS states it is about a size 4.0-5.0.

I am looking at the different lyrical shoes available and no two are uniform in their sizing. Your page says runs true to street shoe but what letter S M L XL is for what number size?

The recommended sizing equivalent for this shoe is: XS (4-5) S (6-7) M (8-9) L (10-11) XL (12-13) For men though you would want to have them order up 2 sizes from their street shoe.
