JUST WHAT I NEEDED
I got these for under a costume. They were just what I was looking for. I got a small and I think a medium would have fit a little better. If you are between sizes I would size up.

These have a very nice fit, and did what they were meant to do. I tried them on under my spandex shorts and a few of my costumes that i used to have lines showing but with this it doesn't create any.

WONDERFUL FOR TEACHING AND DANCING
I have a hard time fitting into leotards because I have a large chest, but I teach ballet so I have to wear a leotard and my staff shirt over the top. Now I can wear my tights and my leotard bottom and staff shirt without being uncomfortable while trying to teach. It's wonderful and comfortable and doesn't ride up while using.

WELL MADE BUT RUNS SMALL
The briefs are well made and would likely stay where they need to stay during dance. However, it is unlikely I will wear them because they are too tight in the waist for me. I am 5'2'', 112 pounds and the briefs are a size medium. I, however, do not like anything tight around my waist. My daughter is OK with a tight fit.

GREAT FOR PERFORMANCES
I ordered these briefs in black to go under a costume of a short black skirt and purple turtleneck bra. They are comfortable and keep your rear covered even if your doing a lot of extensions and jumps. I am 5'1", 75 lbs and the xs fit me great without being baggy or riding up. The waist band came to right below my belly button, so be considerate if you are wearing low cut pants of skirts. I'm going to buy this style again if I ever need other briefs.

ADULT SMALL WILL FIT CHILD LARGE
I ordered these briefs for daughter, who normally wears a Child Large, because I couldn't find a Child Large in Ballet Pink. They fit fine. They're a little baggy in the seat but once shifted around fit fine. Positive: we should have them for a while.

These briefs are good to wear underneath costumes during performances such as snow and flowers in the nutcracker. They fit very well and are tight enough that they won't fall down. These are also known as "bloomers",

How wide is the crotch width in the Capezio team basic brief in adult xsmall?
Looking for coverage since these will be worn for a solo which exhibits tilts and splits.

My dancer prefers trunks that sit at her natural waist, i.e., cover her belly button or even higher. Will these trunks pull up that far?
These are designed to sit below the belly button. While you can likely pull them up, it will not likely be very comfortable. Item N8761 is designed with a high waist, however, and might better suit your dancer. - DDS Customer Service (11/10/2014)
