POOR FITTING LYRICAL SHOE
I followed the reviews that said they ran small and was afraid that the size chart that says 7.5-9 is a large, they would be too small. My daughter wears a 9 so I ordered the large. They are so big!! They have about half an inch of space all around her foot.
I noticed all the reviews are from 2015 so maybe they corrected the too small issue. These might work if you have a wide foot.
They are well made. Have rubber to make the straps stay on, have felt lining inside.

I got a size medium since it was in my size range but when I got it they felt a bit uncomfortable and when I wore the elastic with it they got pretty tight. If I got size large I think it would be a little too big but I would recommend a different pair.

I'm so disappointed! These are great quality but they ran too small! I gave it 3 out 5 stars in comfort for obvious reasons, it was too small, but I give it a 4 out of 5 overall. I ordered a medium so I'm going to return it to get a size up. I would say, to everyone who don't wear these types often or at all, to not be afraid to buy up one or two sizes. Half-soles morph to your feet and mold.

These shoes are great! I love dancing in them and turning in them. The sizing runs a little small I wear an 8 or 8.5 and a large fit perfectly. They can be a little slippery, but rosin helps. The only downfall is they don't last long. I dance twice a week and they've only lasted a 2 or 3 months.

SIZE CHART IS INCORRECT!!
The size chart provided by Discount Dance is incorrect! I am not the first to run into this problem, so why don't they update the listing?? The online size chart says that a medium fits women's size 7-8.5. Upon receipt, the item packaging states the medium fits a size 5-7. This is a huge difference. Please call customer service to order this item, so that you receive the correct size.
On a positive note, my daughter absolutely loves using these for lyrical and contemporary. Her favorite shoes...when they fit.

SIZING CHART IS INCORRECT
Shoe is really nice and seems like it will be very comfortable...However, sizing chart is incorrect on this item. *Canvas Lyrical. My daughter wears an 8 and the Medium is too small (size chart online states Med is for 7-8.5)
Per sizing chart on the product:
XS fits US size 3
S fits 3.5-4.5
M fits 5-7
L fits 7.5-9 and
XL fits 9.5-11

FANTASTIC SHOES! MISLEADING SIZE CHART..
Thanks to other reviewers, I ordered a size larger than what the size chart said for my daughter. They are still a bit more snug than she would like, but definitely wearable...if I would have ordered according to the website's recommendation they would have been way too small. When we received them, I discovered that the size chart on this website is different than the sizing described on the package. My daughter wears a 5.5 or 6 in women's...the website sizes that as a small, the packaging says sizes 5-7 are a medium.
Aside from the sizing discrepancy, these are wonderful shoes! My daughter is super picky about comfort, but these shoes meet even her high standards. The shoes don't bulge in the toes (a problem we've seen with other similar styles) and make her feet look beautiful. We'll definitely be purchasing this style again!

STELLAR SHOES!
Comparable to the Capezio Pirouette II, the Bloch version has a much shorter vamp and is just as perfect for very narrow feet. I have the leather ones in XS, and they are very snug but still wearable. The canvas I ordered in S, which is the better fit. I wear a 5.5-6 street shoe, but I have extremely narrow feet and short toes, which I feel is the best way to gauge fit for this style of shoe. The stitching on these is quite comfortable, and the shoes are great for turns. Love!!

PRETTY GOOD
My studio has sprung wood floors that I kept slipping on in my ballet shoes and I can barely turn barefoot, so these shoes are really great. There are two issues though -- one, they don't make my feet look very good. They kind of bulge in the toe. Secondly, they run small. I'm a size six and I had to get a large. But overall, they really help with my dancing.

I bought these for my daughter (9 years old) a couple of weeks ago. She LOVES these shoes. She wears them for everything now. She says it is like dancing barefoot with the comfort of having a ballet slipper. Easy to turn, awesome looking on stage. We will be purchasing these again.
