Which pink is closest to Body Wrappers Theatrical Pink?
The preferred tights at my daughter's school is Body Wrappers Theatrical Pink. We buy them for performances but my daughter finds them uncomfortable. Theyre not strict on class tights as long as the color is close and she finds this brand comfortable. Would Ballet Pink or Pink match Body Wrappers' Theatrical Pink?
Theatricals Ballet Pink is the closest match to the Body Wrappers Theatrical Pink. - DDS Customer Service (01/12/2016)
What color are the tights in the nude-ish item photo?
One of the listing photos shows the model on relev? in 4th crois?. She has the tights rolled up on her right/front leg, but she's wearing the other leg pulled down all the way over her left/back foot. The tights look nude-ish. Which color is being modeled in that photo? (Caramel, light suntan, pink...?) Thanks!
The color shown in that picture is the Pink. - DDS Customer Service (02/19/2015)
keke 08/23/2014 Fl Age: 17 or under Why do i have a line going down one side of my tights ?
This tight is seamless, so there shouldn't be any seams. It is possible that there is a run in the tights. Please contact Customer Service for additional assistance. - DDS Customer Service (08/25/2014)
It probably got a run while it was in shipping . . . - Omodancer (11/16/2014)
No, these tights don't have the stitching line thingy - Cazellex (01/04/2015)
Dani 02/22/2014 Australia Age: 25 to 34 Where can I find the size guide for the product?
I'm trying to figure out what size to purchase. I am 172cm (about 5'6") and weigh 57 kg (125 pounds). Thanks!
The sizing chart for the tights can be found in the alternate views below the color options. With your height and weight given, you are measuring at a medium adult. - DDS Customer Service (02/24/2014)
The size guide is located in the pictures of the tights. ;) - Littlemissballerina1501 (03/08/2014)
I would buy a large for you because I am 5'3" and 125 lbs and a large is perfect on me. You are a smidge taller than me so that would make you a little slimmer but you have length where I have pounds. - Hermanenpointe (03/18/2014)
Look at the size chart. I personally always buy my tights bigger then the size that is recommended for me on the size chart. Its a lot more comfortable that way. - Dancer88 (04/25/2014)
There is a sizing chart in the "alternative views" area, judging by your size I think a medium would be the best option. - Grayhattie (05/06/2014)
I ordered an adutl small for my daughter who weights 92 pounds and is 4 foot 11. I would think you would need at least an adult large as these ran a bit small. - Pjinaz (08/22/2014)
The Dove 02/09/2014 Illinois Age: 55 to 64 What does the term "convertible" mean for tights?
I'm also unclear about the product description which indicated that there was a slit on the foot. What does that mean? I've only done ballroom dancing so I 'm not familiar with terms that may be common in the ballet dance field.
Thanks!
Convertible or transitional, when referring to tights, means that you can switch between the tight sitting at the ankle (like leggings) and covering the toes, pad of the foot, and heel. - DDS Customer Service (02/25/2014)
It enables you to switch between feet covered by tights and uncovered, this helps when putting on pointes and such. - Littlemissballerina1501 (03/08/2014)
Actually there is a small opening on the bottom of the foot area. And you can easily slip your foot through that hole. Then roll the tight leg up to your ankle area. It will look like a legging:) - Mwmom (04/01/2014)
Convertible means that with the slit in the bottom of the tights, you can wear the tights as footed tights, or you can put your foot through the slit and they become foot-less tights that are shown in the picture. Its like cutting a whole i the bottom of footed tights but these ones will not create runs in your tights when you stretch them - Dancer88 (04/25/2014)
There is an opening at the bottom of the tights that allows to transition to footless tights or foot-it tights. Its very unique and comfotable. I actually prefer these because you dont have to keep buying numerous pairs of both (footless and/or footed tights). - Philali (06/06/2014)
Convertible means it has a hole in the bottom of the foot so you can wear as a footed tight or slip your feet out for perhaps a modern or contemporary bare-footed class. Just look at he photos on this site!) It also save tights from getting dirty (distasteful) when worn in shoes. Most dancers pull their feet through and wear like a legging when going to and from class. - Aspiringballerina (08/30/2014)
Paulinha 05/25/2013 North America Age: 17 or under What color of tights is shown in the picture?
What color is shown in the picture? I like the color and would like to know. Thank you in advance.
The tights pictured are ballet pink. Pink is actually more of a deeper khaki color. - DDS Customer Service (05/28/2013)
I'd say those are more in the tan colors. I bought the pink and they are a true ballet pink. - Torikate (10/29/2013)
The color of the tights in the picture is Ballet Pink--which is a very light, pastel pink, similar in color to most ballet slippers. - Hab17 (09/23/2014)
fallingstars 01/13/2013 Florida Ballet Pink vs. Pink
What's the difference between the ballet pink and pink?
Ballet pink is more subtle than regular pink. Ballet pink is also the most common color used in ballet classes (recreational or advanced). Hope this helped :) - You8776 (07/08/2013)
Ballet pink has more of a skin tone color in it. - You8776 (07/08/2013)
I have yet to order the Ballet Pink yet, but the Pink is definitely darker than you would expect, but I have dark olive skin and it looks really nice on me. If this helps! :-) - Alyxandra (10/05/2013)
That's a tough question seeming how every place you dance has a different view on pink. However, one key factor is the hue of the pink. There is so many different hues from bubblegum to almost white. A ballet pink is in between. It's a pale pink that normally flatters all leg shapes. Nothing dark, ultra princess-pink and no yellow-hued pinks either. - Torikate (10/28/2013)
The difference is that Ballet Pink is more of a light "peachy" pink, where Theatrical Pink is a light pink with no additional color undertones.
-Found on the DDS website FAQ - Tinyreddancer (02/07/2014)
I ordered ballet pink and they are a very light pink almost like an off white but with a some pink mixed in. I always order ballet pink for dance classes and they are the proper color. - Pjinaz (08/22/2014)
nonamesarettakin 11/17/2012 Michigan Age: 17 or under What is the waistband like on these tights compared to Capiezio 1816 tights?
The waistband on this tights is similar to the 1816 waistband. elastic waistband - DDS Customer Service (11/20/2012)
I haven't tried the Capezio 1816 tights, but I really do like the waistband on these. It is very stretchy and comfortable, and you don't have to pull it up to your chest and roll it down, you can just pull them up to your hips or waist. - Kski (12/31/2012)
It is much looser. I always had to snip the waistband on my capezio tights but the waistband on Theatrical tights is loose and comfortable and doesn't give me any awkward lines. - Anna2 (08/31/2013)
The wasit band was really tight on these. I always cut the waistband off of my tights and my bubble butt keeps them up. I think it looks nicer under my leo to not have a tight wasitband created love handles lol. - Alyxandra (10/05/2013)
In general, Capezio tights have tight waistbands and don't come up that far on the waist. These tights have a looser, more comfortable waistband that can be pulled up high or rolled down flat across the hip bones. They are very, very comfortable. - Torikate (10/28/2013)
