The Capezio Snakespine Dansneaker is designed and engineered for natural responsiveness across a wide range of activity and movement. Lightweight and supportive enough for regular works outs, the Snakespine features a flat platform for toe stands, a non-marking outsole, and flex notches that facilitate articulation through the foot that make it ideal for dance. Other features include cotton sock lining, polyester/cotton laces and a removable EVA footbed.
These shoes look great and are very good value, not having a lace is a good feature, they are flexible and very light.
The major problem is the sizing is strange as I take a Size 9 and it was too small.
These are a nice sleek shoe with great arch support and run true to size. I have ordered all colors. The purple shoe has a white non marking sole. The hot pink and black shoes have black soles that mark up floors pretty badly. I can't allow them in a studio. They would work well for other athletic activities. They are not good for turns. There is too much friction from the soles. Also, if you have flatter feet, I wouldn't recommend them, as the inside arch in the shoe would be a problem.
