If you order them your size, they're sheer. If you order a size up, they're baggy. They're very unflattering and feel like a swimsuit. The straps are loose and the lining isn't very thick, so jumping should be avoided. The skirt is very short, so there's almost no point in buying this "dress". The skirt is also very incompatible with pants. All the girls in the upper levels of my studio now wear these as uniforms, and every one of us hates these leotards because of the fit. We love the colors however.
I'm 5'4" and weigh 123lbs. I order the large and it fit beautifully. The bodice is very attractive and the skirt is cute. I really liked the color and the fit but felt it would be too heavy for Summer classes so I returned it. However it gives a slender, professional look.
Wow! I have to say, I was kind of making a bet when I bought this, because there's only one review, and it doesn't say much, but I'm glad I did, because this dress is ABSOLUTELY beautiful.
For use of reference, I'm 5'2", and about 123 lbs., and I purchased a Small. I don't have the perfect "dancer" body type; I'm not super skinny or anything. I wear a 34C in bras, so again, not very "dancer." And as much as I love this dress, it's made for someone more like that, or at least has smaller breasts! I put it on for the first time, and the little seam that's supposed to go under the bust cut straight across the middle for me. So, larger-breasted dancers beware! It's not overly noticeable, but it's not really the perfect fit.
Other than the weird bust seam, I have to say, I love this dress. The color, the skirt, everything, it's just beautiful. Definitely a great buy!
