I was apprehensive purchasing jazz shoes on line but I took a chance and these shoes are true to size! I bought one in tan and black and they're both exactly what my daughter needed. A great price and shipped quick. Will definitely purchase again in the future.
When I first received them, I thought that they would be too small. My granddaughter had a tight pair of jazz shoes in a size 12, so I ordered a 13 in this pair. When I received them they looked to be the same size. However, I had her try them on and they fit perfectly. Perhaps they are a bit wider than the old jazz shoes. All in all, good shoes.
I read the previous reviews for this shoe which stated this item ran large, so a adjusted the sizing accordingly. My daughter wears a street show size 2.5 so I purchased the 1.5, it is entirely too small. I am thinking she would need a size 3. Other than ordering the incorrect size the show seemed fine.
My 4 yr old daughter is new to dance so these shoes were recommended to us by her teacher. The shoe looks great however it is too large around the ankle. Unfortunately we ordered the smallest size available so now I'm back to square one! Shipping time was excellent as was the customer service when trying to locate a smaller brand. I would definitely buy again if smaller child sizes were an option!
My 6yr old daughter is new to dance and this is her first pair of jazz shoes. She loves how comfortable they are. They are a little hard to put on but I'm sure she will get used to it. They fit perfectly. I also ordered ballet slippers and cant wait to receive them.
My daughter's dance studio had recommended discountdance.com as a great resource to find well-priced new jazz shoes. After reading the reviews on this style shoe, and noting the excellent price, I ordered a pair at ~12:45pm on Friday afternoon. I paid for the cheapest shipping and expected them to show up in about a week, which was fine for my needs.
Guess when they arrived? ~1pm the very next day!! I was floored to receive them in 24 hours, and thrilled that they're just the right size and look just like the photos. I will definitely make all of my future dance shoe purchases from this site!!

This is my first time buying a Jazz shoe for my daughter. I am unsure of the sizing. What size would best fit an insole of approx 8" / 20cm in length. Also how long would it take to ship to New Zealand?
The measurements you have given me are equivalent to a US child size 1.5. Style T7600C runs true to size for children. We do ship to New Zealand via Fed Ex Economy International which normally delivers within 6-10 business days. - DDS Customer Service (06/24/2014)
Why is there a size jump between child and adult - largest child is 1.5 and smallest adult is 4.0?

I ordered my daughter's street size which is a 13. Based on how they fit her I need to go up two sizes. Two sizes above would be a 2. The largest child is a 1.5 and the smallest adult is a 4. I'm afraid the 4 will be way too big if it equates to adult sizes. I wonder if I got a mismarked size? Thank you!
In order to convert a child size 2 you would need to add 2 sizes to the street shoe size. So a child size to is the same measurement as an adult size 4.0. This particular sizing on this shoe does state to order the same as street shoe size. - DDS Customer Service (09/10/2013)
"M" and "W" refer to the width of the shoe. The "M" is for medium and the "W" is for wide. If you don't typically wear a wide street shoe we would recommend ordering a medium width dance shoe. - DDS Customer Service (07/11/2013)
i would like to get these jazz shoes for my 6 y/o daughter, she is a size 11.5, i ordered this size
by: jill (12/09/2012)
is size 11.5 for school aged children (6 y/o) or is this for toddlers? thank you!
If she is a child size 11.5, you would order same as her street shoe, so yes 11.5 is a childrens shoe not toddler. - DDS Customer Service (12/10/2012)
My daughter is 5 years old and wears a size 10 1/2 or 11 shoe; her size is sometimes called "toddler size" and sometimes called "little kid" or "child" size. I bought the 11 child size in this shoe and it was the correct size for her. - Laurensgotmoxie (03/09/2013)
