    Fit: True to size

I have had 3 pairs of these shoes now and they last a long time. The only thing I don't like is the color of the "pink" shoes is a pinkish tan, not really pink. However, they are great for class, and last year for our dance show I needed black, so I didn't have to deal with the color issue. This year I bought a different brand for the show, but will probably keep those for performances and continue to do classes in these. I'm a size 8 and I wear a size 6 in these, which is pretty tight when I buy them, but they mold to your foot in 1-2 classes.

  • I need to finish them

    by: REDonFIRE - 10/06/2014

When they came, the straps were not attached in the criss cross pattern. I ordered these cause of the double straps and not just a single one. The straps need to be sewn into place now before my show. Is it just me? I thought they'd show up looking like the photo without me having to do any sewing. :/

  • confused about shoe size

    by: camg - 10/04/2014

I purchased two pairs of this shoe in adult size 2, they arrived and are so small they look like about child size 12. Appears size is UK size 2 which is 2 sizes smaller than US size 2. Wish this was indicated clearly on the page so I didn't have to now return everything. will only buy shoes from in person store from now on--though I haven't had trouble with sizing from this supplier before.

  • too short heel cup

    by: ErinM - 02/03/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

The heel cup on this ballet shoe was too short, so it felt like it was falling off just when I stood still and actually started falling off any time I moved. The leather and split sole seemed of good quality and the sizing seemed fine. I personally just don't care for a short or shallow heel cup because I feel like it constantly needs to be pulled up, even if it didn't move at that moment. I returned these to DDS.

  • Excellent...

    by: not2old2dance - 05/11/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I was not familiar with So Danca, but decided to try this shoe anyway. I absolutely love it! The forefoot and heel soles are very comfortable, no lumping at the forefoot, the heel padding is nice, and the shoe conforms to my arch perfectly. I have tapered toes, and this shoe molds perfectly to my foot. This is my favorite shoe to dance in! My only complaint is the color- they are a darker pink color- not the pretty rosy pink like many of the other shoes out there, but I will continue to wear these because they are more comfortable than the other leather split soles I have tried. I've been dancing in these for about 2 months 3 days a week on wood floors, and the pink hasn't rubbed off at the toe yet. For reference, I wear a 6.0 M street shoe (dress shoes), and the 4.0 B fits me perfectly.

  • Great product, great price

    by: Mam13 - 01/08/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

This shoe is made very well. As my daughter danced in them the leather formed more to her foot. She said they were comfy. They've also been very durable. The color is a little darker than other shoes, but what ballet shoe doesn't end up grey anyway? I would buy them again.
