I ordered these as my first pair of toe pads, and thought I would really like them. ( I also thought the "breathable" holes were pretty awesome) So I got them in the mail and the first time I put them on one ripped right in half.. so I didn't even get a chance to wear them with pointe shoes :( Turns out those "breathable" holes aren't that great after all.. As a fellow ballerina I WOULD NOT recommend these to a friend, or anyone for that matter. To be honest, I'd give these 0 stars if I could. My first pair of pointe shoes were by Sansha too, and they seemed a bit "cheap", let's just say Sansha isn't my favorite brand.. But if you're trying to find some great toe pads, I would highly recommend ToeSavers Skinny Dips, I got them as my second pair about a year ago, and still have them in great condition!

cassadydancer312/29/2012GREAT!!!
I had ouch pouches before these and I thought i liked them till I got these! I am so glad i got these you feel the floor great and they stretch to your foot. I have never had any problem with it sliding but if it does you can just put some baby powder in it! I had these for about three months they did break but I pulled them too hard putting them on so just be careful with that but I'm defiantly purchasing them again!

This was my first toe pads and at first, they were great. Then my feet slid in them and in about my fourth week, they split, and left my fourth toe unprotected and gave me a HUGE blister. So, they aren't my favorite toe pads.

These toe pads were wonderful when I first put them on. They were extremely comfortable and I was really able to feel the floor. However, as my class progressed they were sweaty and slipping around my foot, leaving the sides of my toes exposed. I tried taping them to my foot, wearing them inside out, putting them over and under my tights, but they still bunched up and slipped around. Very disappointing because they felt perfect.

I really like these. They are just right. I normally only wear cut socks in my shoes, but now I have longer classes. These are not thick at all but provide a lot of comfort! Love them.

Nikki05/25/2009YAY! CHEAP AND GOOD.
I didn't buy these from Discount Dance but let me tell you - these toe pads are GREAT!!! :) They are just the right thickness and don't feel sticky or bulky in the shoe at all... the air holes really help to increase air circulation I think. Used to really hate all gel-only toe pads but these were awesome. Cheap n good.

I currently use the ouch pouch jr, and I havent used anything else through the years. The main problem I have with the ouch pouch is the gel moving away from where my big toe goes, and it can cause pain at times. They also stink pretty quickly, because they "suck up" the sweat. I was wondering if these tear very easily, if they will slide around, or cause extra blistering from the inside being to moist. Any help is appreciated!
These are pretty slippery because they have this glossy layer over the silicone, and when I got mine the first time I put them on one ripped right in half. I would recommend ToeSavers Skinny Dips! They have a fabric side and a silicone side, I used to use the fabric side but the silicone side sticks really well and doesn't slide. Also, I wash them maybe twice a month with warm water and soap, then let them air dry. I have never had problems with them stinking, but my friend had the same kind and never washed them and they smelt really bad. So as long as you wash them at least once a month, you're good! - Willowballerina (03/19/2015)
