I have been a Latin ballroom and salsa dancer for 10 years now and have sworn by brands such as Ray Rose. I initially bought this as a practice shoe and soon fell in love with how they looked on my feet. Not only are they comfortable/supportive, reasonably priced, and flexible (though not as flexible as ray rose), they give your feet a beautiful arch and look that I have not had with other brands. I received many compliments and have used this shoe for social dancing and performances. I absolutely love this shoe, and will be buying my third pair soon. Also, as my friend describes it, they make my feet look like "daggers" --> basically my toes look really sharp and pointed when I wear these shoes. I would highly recommend. You can't beat the price.
Yes I know the color is very nice, BUT i'm afraid that's the only positive thing I have to write about. I went out dancing for 3 hours and that's when I realized I need new shoes!( I've had them since April#. The heel is too skinny for my taste because it wiggles underneath out of nowhere :/ . In addition the back of the shoe does not cover the heel of the foot properly, which made me feel like I wasn't getting enough support. The straps in the front are okay but were cutting into some of my toes leaving me with bad blisters. Yeah I know latin dancing shoes can do that, however I was seeking comfortable shoes that can endure my strenuous dance activity. If your into buying blister band aids then go for it but i'm trying to find a shoe that doesn't give me as much problems. On the bright side the shoe does have nice padding. If you do want to proceed and get the shoe get a whole size lower, it may feel extra tight but trust me it will stretch . The proper fit for latin shoes should have your toes slightly out # some like the toes hanging out of the shoe but all about personal preference).
