Denise02/04/2014DAUGHTER LOVES THESE!
My daughter had lots of blisters (where her big toe joins her foot) from turing, so I ordered these for her to try to prevent them. At first, she thought they were too small. Then she wore them to class and they broke in nicely. All her classmates loved them too and placed orders. Wonderful product - holds up nicely.

These shoes were extremely difficult to get on. The mesh fabric around my toes is WAY too big but it was tight around the ball of my foot. I cant cut the shoes without ruining them. I am a size 6 in street shoes and have small toes and i got these because i thought they would protect my feet. Totally not worth it. These shoes are just a hassle!

Nicci04/02/2013THESE ARE GREAT!
I've only worn these for one class so far, I got them for recital in May, and they are amazing. They were a little odd putting on at first, cause they were a little tight, but they started to break in nicely after wearing them for a few hours. Turning is great in them too, no more big toe dragging around! I'm actually going to try these for gymnastics too!

hayelle7201/27/2013FUNCTIONAL, BUT STRANGE LOOKING
I wear a medium in dance paws and ordered a large in the Bloch foot glove based on the size chart. The toe areas were pretty baggy, but the elastic band that goes around my foot fit well. The fact that the big toe is covered is pretty nice, but I couldn't get over how weird these shoes made my feet look, even though they look fine when you point your toes. The extra material around my toes didn't help either so I returned these. It seemed like the shoes would work really well, though, so it was sad that they looked so strange on my feet.

SeniorDancer08/02/2012LOVE THEM!
Love these dance shoes. I had resorted to making my own modern dance shoes out of socks because no commercial shoe ever fit without bunching up under my toes when I turn. Miracle! No bunching during turns. So comfortable with added protection to your big toe.

fallingstars07/10/2012MY FAVORITE DANCE SHOES!
I looooove these! I use them for jazz class. I had been using Capezio FootUndeez, but they kept sliding off my feet. These never slide! They have a silicone band around the inside of the elastic that really holds them in place. I wear a 6.5, so I got a medium, which fits perfect. They seem well-made, and they have decent padding. Plus, they look awesome (I got the Zebra). I love how it protects the big toe, it makes turning easier. The only complaints I have are that they get dirty really easily, and the stitching on the second toe started to come apart after just one class. Otherwise, these are the best!

BooBoo04/27/2012SENSIBLE AND COMFORTABLE
I've had my Feet Gloves for almost a month now and I love them. My style of choice of is Lyrical dancing and although they are best for it they are also functional in Jazz and some Hip Hop. No rips as of yet, but they do dirty quickly unless you are usually in a very clean space when using them; I have a school gym and cafeteria to work with. It's not incredibly horrid and disgusting, just know that they get dirty and turn a darker color when they stay dirty.
I ordered a large, I have 8, sometimes 9, occasionally 10 sized feet, all depends on brand, and I find they are a wee bit big. Nothing un-handable, but when you're choosing your size go with your smallest size if you want a tight fight. I don't mind things being a bit too big; I would rather have something too big than too small.
They are VERY comfortable. I love them to death. I've worn them for over an hour before, dancing the whole time, and they never began to feel too tight on my feet. When you're wearing them in they will leave marks though.
Over all, get them if you do Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, or anything where you have to be barefoot. They are the work of wizards :)

I wish they made ballet shoes like this! I plan on wearing these inside my ballet slippers and once I am healed from an injury I will try them inside my pointe shoes.
The fact that they keep your toes separated is so therapeutic. Runners are using sneakers that separate the toes so why shouldn't dancers? I also wear them to yoga class.
I will buy these again and recommend them to anyone! LOVE THESE SHOES :)

Our daughter has been dancing for 7 years. She has worn the foot undies from Capezio and was always happy with them. However, once she tried this Bloch foot glove, she feel in love. She says that she has more control of her body as she is dancing, and she is convinced that they have helped her improve her turns, leaps and jumps. We highly recomment these!

Since I have difficulty turning barefoot in my Graham Technique class I decided to purchase these shoes because I like the fact it protected the big toe. They are quite comfortable and easy to dance in (makes turning so much easier) however they are not very durable. I noticed today that the stitching on the big toe is coming apart on both shoes - and this is my second time wearing them. Mind you, the first hour of class is done sitting on the floor doing Graham exercises and the second hour is choreography, so it's taken a total of two hours for my shoes to start to fall apart. I'm going to have to repair them which is pretty ridiculous considering the short amount of time I've been using them. I would not recommend them.

Will it work?
I see that there are extra pads on the toes. Will it effect when i do turns?
These are made for dancing like you are barefoot, it should not effect your turning - DDS Customer Service (12/10/2012)
