The "Evolution" by Bloch consists of a leather and mesh upper and a non-marking rubber outsole with a medial pivot point for ease of turning. Other features include an expanded EVA foam midsole for superior cushioning and shock absorption and a removable contoured sock liner.
I bought these for hip-hop and they are very comfortable, even for my bad feet. However, the sole under the toe wore out fairly fast and now they are very slick for turning. Also, there is NO toe box so it is impossible to do toe stands. I'll be selling these and replacing them with a pair with a toe box! I wear an 8 and got an 8.5. At first they seemed too small, but they stretched and fit well after a few classes.
I ordered 1/2 larger than my street shoe size and feel like they are a little too big. Also the rubber sole at the the shoe is beginning to come unglued. However, they are light and comfortable and work great for Zumba. I just wish I had ordered 1/2 size smaller.
I bought them for Zumba. I did buy one size larger and they seem a little too big but worked fine and are very comfortable. I've only had them for a few weeks and the mesh has torn away from the leather on the right shoe. That's really disappointing.
