    FITS REALLY WELL

I was nervous the sizing would be off, but my daughter loves them and they fit her feet really well.

NOT TRUE TO SIZE FOR US

My almost 7 year old has small feet. She wears a 10 in most street shoes, her favorite style being the flat, narrow, Mary Jane-style Crocs with the closed heal, no strap, no adjustable pieces, and much more form fitting than normal Crocs. I'm describing this in case you're in my position with a kid who is irritated by loose or uneven shoes. We ordered the smallest size of this jazz shoe available, a size 10, thinking we'd be safe because of the recommendation to possibly order a half size bigger than street shoe size. The shoes are visibly large on her, and she claims one is tighter than the other. So, if your kid wears the same style of Crocs my kid does, order a half size SMALLER than that size of Croc. Unless you're like us with a size 10 foot. Then you're hosed.

Loved these jazz shoes for my 6 year old. They were a big snug to get on, so I'd suggest sizing up half a size. They lasted her entire first year of jazz.

These are pretty true to size but if any doubts only go up half a size from street size. Easy slide on and off. This is our first year of jazz but these seem to be made very well and should last us all dance season.

We bought these December of last year for my daughter and she's loved them from day one. They are super comfortable and have held up incredibly through dance class 4 days a week as well as competition season. I highly suggest these to anyone! Very true to size.

    GREAT SHOES

My daughter has been wearing this particular jazz shoe for 3 years now. In our experience, the size of her jazz shoe is the same size as her street shoe (for child's sizes). She currently wears a size 1 street shoe and her jazz shoes are child's 1 in black & a women's 4 in tan (the childs 1 is exactly the same size as the womens 4). My suggestion, order the same size as their street shoe (if your child's feet grow fast, order up a 1/2 size). This is our personal experience - hope it helps!

GREAT JAZZ SHOES WITH ALOT OF STRETCH

These jazz shoes do stretch. I would not recommend going up 1/2 size as stated. They are snug at first but will stretch with wear. My daughter wears a 13-13.5 shoe and has a wide foot. The 12.5 jazz shoe fits perfect with some room to grow.

    NICE SHOE

I bought these shoes for my 6 year old son and he says they are comfortable. They are very easy to slip on and are not tight on his foot. They run true to size. He wears a size 1 sneaker and the size 1 shoe fits him with just a little bit of growing room to spare. I have bought these in the past and they hold up very well.

    GREAT PURCHASE!

I ordered these for my 6 year old daughter who wears a size 13 in street shoes. On the site it said order 1/2 size up and some reviews said to go a whole size. I ordered a whole size larger (sz 1) and they were huge. So I do not recomment ordering a size up at all. I would order whatever size street shoe you wear. I had to go back and order my daughter a sz 13. This is the only reason I didnt give 5 stars.

    COMFORTABLE, FITS LIKE A GLOVE

I bought these for my daughters turns class, and she loved them. She said they fit like a glove and are very comfortable. I did not have a problem with ordering the correct shoe size. My daughter is a size 3 in girls so I ordered the 1.5 in Bloch's jazz shoe... perfect fit.

DURABLE AND GOOD FOR TURNS AND JUMPS

These shoes have just the right amount of slipperyness (I know that's not a word but I couldn't think of the right one), for turning, and just the right amount of grip, for kicks and jumps. They are also very durable and overall are good shoes.

    Narrow sizes?

Hi, On the Bloch site, this shoe also comes in narrow width. Is there an option to purchase this shoe in narrow on this site? Thanks!

We are sorry but Bloch is not providing us with the narrow width currently.

why do the sizes stop at 1.5?

My child needs new jazz shoes and she wears a 2.5 or 3.0 (on the big size) street shoe. The child size jazz shoes stop at size 1.5 and the adults start at 4, what size should I order her? Are the 1.5 sizes equivalent to a larger size or are they true 1.5? Im confused as to why the 2's and 3's are skipped?

In order convert from child to adult sizing, you need to add two sizes. The child size stops at a size 1.5, so the size 2.0 in children's equates to the size 4.0 in adult. Since your daughter is wearing a 2.5-3.0, you will want to order a 4.5-5.0 in the adult version of this shoe. If you have any additional questions, please call customer service.

The size 4 adult would be the same as a child size 2. Just add 2 sizes to your child's shoe size and order that in the adult. That should be the right size. - Competitiondancemom (01/24/2015)
