Bloch's "Chord" ankle strap with 3" heel features a shank and last designed to maximize arch support. Other characteristics include a leather upper and matching heel cover, stronger heel counter and padded insoles.
I had these for a while and I liked them a lot. You should get them in your street size for the right length, they will be snug at first but they will stretch out very quickly because the leather is very, very soft. I made the mistake of getting them a half size larger and I wore them for a year before they got to the point where they felt too big to be comfortable. I had these in tan, and the tan color was beautiful, they were the exact same color as Bloch light tan tights, so you can wear them together for a Rockette look :) Overall these shoes are nice looking and feel sturdy, the soles are cushioned and comfortable. My only problem with these shoes is that they are made of very soft leather, so you can see the shape of your toes in these shoes, like when you wear jazz shoes. It's not the best look for a pair of heels, but I'm sure on stage it's not really noticeable. I liked these a lot, if I had bought them in my street size, I'd probably still be wearing them.
