    COMFORTABLE AND AS DESCRIBED

These are perfect. Other brands use "pink" loosely, these are actually pink. I researched the brand, verified what size to get and couldn't be happier to have my little girl start her lessons.

    DISAPPOINTED

I had high hopes for these shoes. When I got them they are two different shades of pink, one is shiny leather and the other is dull, and one is larger than the other even though they are both stamped with the same size. Not happy at all with these at all. Customer service said I could send them back and they would "inspect" them and decide whether or not to give me a refund/exchange and it could take a few weeks. Will not be ordering from this site again.

    COMFY AND CUTE

Love that these are true pink ballet slippers. My little girl can't get enough of them. I ordered 1/2 size up from her street size and they fit perfectly with just enough room for growth.

    CUTEST BALLET SHOES!

These are the cutest ballet shoes ever! I got a size 9 for my 3 year old who wears street size 8.5. They run big however they tie so you can tighten them which is perfect! This allows growing room! The color is definitely Pink not that nude color some of the shoes come in. I highly recommend!

THE ONLY REAL PINK SHOES OUT THERE!

First of all, I have no idea who got the un-bright idea to make ballet shoes an ugly tannish-beige and call it pink. The ONLY real pink ballet shoes are the Bloch Bunny Hop. They are the softest leather on the outside, the softest lining on the inside, and fit the little preschoolers' feet perfectly. They are my favorite and what I require my students to wear. I've been a dance teacher since 1980. I've seen a LOT of dance shoes! Love you Bloch Bunny Hops!

SO CUTE AND COMFY JUST RUN SMALL

My daughters foot measures 11 1/2 at the store in street shoes so we decided to go for a size 13 but its a lot smaller than I expected. It still works and hopefully will last but I'd suggest ordering at very least 1 1/2 sizes bigger than street shoes if not 2-2.5. If they had youth sizes I'd return for that but seeing as the only size bigger is a 13 1/2 we are just keeping the 13's. BUT the color is so cute and I liked them a lot more than the stores colors and they are super soft inside. AND we ordered on Thursday using the 3-8 day shipping and they arrived on Saturday!!!

    RETURNING CUSTOMER

These were the first shoes we bought my little dancer... she hit a growth spurt so we bought the next size up... I went the next full size instead of messing with half sizes. Little ones grow so much and these have the ties to snug them up, they wont be on the "slighlty" big side for long. THey do run about a size big... she wore a 6 when we bought the first pair and went with a size 7.... they are starting to get tight, she has not complained yet as they do stretch nicely and seem very comfortable. I bought the 8s to have on standby for when she does say they are too tight. I put the 8s on her once, they snug up and stay on but there is a little extra in the toe. She is still wearing a 6 in street shoes. Definitly size up when you purchase, but all in all, a great shoe!

    CHILDS BUNNY HOP BALLET SLIPPER

I bought this brand of slipper locally for my granddaughter in January. They were durable and comfy, so when she outgrew them (in Sept!) I found them online and purchased one and a half sizes larger to get a little "grow room". They fit fine, and they last. (She only wears them in dance class, not outside) She went from a size 10 to an 11 1/2 in nine months. I will purchase more whenever that time comes, and would recommend them to anyone needing good ballet slippers.

    HIGH QUALITY BALLET SHOE

This shoe is wonderful quality for the price. I've paid more for other shoes that are not nearly as nice. I found the sizing to be the same as the size my daughter wears in standard shoes. I ordered the same size she normally wears and the fit is perfect, with some room to grow. Do pay attention to the width. My daughter has a pretty narrow foot. I ordered a B and it is fine, but the A might have been a little better.

    PERFECT LITTLE SHOES

Love these little shoes. Bought the size according to what the directions said, half a size bigger than street shoe size I believe, and they fit my daughter great with a little room to grow. Cute color, true to the pink description, worked perfectly!

    WONDERFUL BEGINNER SLIPPER

I ordered this a size larger as recommended, for a perfect fit now. It is a nice quailty slipper with the softer lining and cute bunnies inside, perfect for younger dancers.

    SMALL SIZES FOR SMALL FEET

These shoes are good quality, they seem to make the smallest sizes available for little dancers. If you have a little dancer, you probably know that little toddler sizes are hard to find. The shoe is durable and looks like it will last as long as my dancer fits it, which could be a while since she is a slow grower. I believe that the shoe does run a little small, my daughter just out grew a 5.5, and I ordered her a size 6.5 to replace it as these seem to run a little smaller than street shoes.

Ballet slippers run small, I ordered a size 8 for my daughter who wears size 8 in street shoes and they were too tight. Stamped on the inside of the slippers was size 7/8, which that was never mentioned any where when purchasing them. If I would of known they were going to be a inbetween size I would of ordered a bigger size all together.

    PRETTY IN PINK

these shoes seem of excellent quality, they are a pretty pink as pictured, sizing is right on, and i got them a day earlier than expected. my daughter is an 8.5/9 regular shoe, avg width foot, i ordered a 9.5 C and they fit exactly how they should. not too wide. they are perfect. i even had a quality control issue, bloch's fault, not discount dance.one shoe was alittle "irregular" compared to the other, clearly a manufacturing defect. Discount Dance shipped another pair right away, and i got them in 2 days. They gave me excellent costumer service as well. these shoes are a GREAT buy

    Width question

Hello I'm curious about the B, C, D width options. Is C just for a normal foot,is that B ? I'm wanting to order but not sure how to measuresize my daughter. Thank you!!

Hello, B is for narrow width, C is for average width, and D is for wide width. If you typically do not need to buy a special width then a C should work fine.

    What size do I need?

Daughter is 5, wears shoe size 13 or 1 depending on shoe...what size of pink ballet shoe does she need? Thank you!

Because she is still growing, I would recommend a size 1.5 in this slipper. The sizing recommends ordering a half size larger, so a size 1.5 would give her a bit of room to grow.

Are the straps attached to the shoes?

    The straps are attached.
    - DDS Customer Service (06/13/2013)

Yes, the straps are attached. As with all ballet shoes, you will need to tighten the front ties to properly fit your dancer. - Mom2littledancers (08/23/2013)

Yes, the straps are attached to the slippers. - Gilbertmom (08/29/2013)

Yes, the elastic strap is pre attached when you purchase these shoes. - Gothymommy (09/10/2013)

Yes, Lauren, the straps are attached. Another fantastic reason to purchase these. Heck, if they were in adult sizes (which they are not) I would purchase them for me! - Socaldanceteacher (06/17/2014)

Could you please explain the difference between B, C, D? I'm not seeing it on the sizing chart.

B, C and D has to do with the width of the shoe. B narrow,C medium and D wide
