These shoes were great for my narrow, tapered feet! I wear a US street shoe size 9.5 and the 7X fit great. The heat molding made them even more comfortable. I'm sad these were discontinued on discount dance!!

Galina07/20/2014GOOD SHOES, CAN WORK FOR MANY DIFFERENT
As with most Bloch pointe shoes, they seem to have a very long life.
The TMT tech seemed to work well. When I blow-dried the box as directed, it got very soft, almost like putty or clay(the tip and lower area thankfully didn't). After refrigeration, they got just as hard as they came again. After a few wears they are still very hard. I will say this, however: if your pinky bunion sticks out or is wide, then the TMT will mold to it and make a very undesirable line.(Makes you look more sickled).
I also activated and used the TMT in the shank. After blowdrying, it got very soft and bendable. I bent it at my arch and refrigerated and now they have a pre arch similar to Gaynor Mindens, although the shank is still very hard. It is nice because you can choose exactly where you want the shank to bend and still have tons of support without three-quartering. Just a warning, however: I peeled back the liner to see if three-quartering was an option and It seems that it would be tricky or impossible. The shank, unlike other bloch shoes, is a very tough plastic and wont separate from the sole. Basically you can't three- quarter these shoes.
I have worn Bloch shoes without TMT before and the Axis are just as supportive and long-lasting. The only reason I gave them 4 stars not 5 was that they squished my big toe more than other shoes.

NKay07/20/2012FIRST POINTE SHOES AND THEY ARE AWESOME
I just got these pointe shoes and have worn them to one rehersal and one class. I just did the TMT tonight and I think it is really going to help my break in process. Alot of people say that they are too soft but I think they are perfect! They are alot harder than normal Bloch shanks. I can't wait to use them again!

Elliepops05/25/2009 England,uk,
We live in UK and got two pairs of this shoe for my daughter to dance as Clara in the Nutcracker with the English Youth Ballet. She usually wears a Suprima and we went for the same size, but one width fitting narrower than her usual. They were fabulous! The most comfortable shoe she has ever had. So durable she only wore one pair as they lasted much longer than Suprimas would have. The platform is on the small side, but bigger than Suprima and similar to any other tapered shoe. Like anything in life if it's what your used to it's fine.

Teasag11/04/2008 Washington,AMAZING! THEY HARDEN UP IN THE FRIDGE!
I have had these for 5 months and they are as hard as new. After they formed to my foot, I just put them in the fridge after every class and they harden up again like new for my next class. I can't believe how much money I'm saving on pointe shoes! I've already worn through the satin and the second layer of cloth with nothing left on the tips, but they are as hard as rocks every time. I'll never switch to a different type of shoes if I can help it! DONT FORGET TO PUT THEM IN THE FRIDGE! It's magic!

This shoe is a wonderful shoe! It formed to my foot beautifully and it actually lasted a long time for me and my high arches. They are probably the most comfortable pointe shoes I've ever had. I Definitely recommend these shoes!

Anonymous09/30/2008GREAT SHOE
I'm really glad I switched to this shoe from the Axiom. The break-in process is really nice, I can actually get this shoe to hug my arch and support my foot on pointe.

A lot of people say these are soft and won't last a while but I love them. They are soft but if you don't mind a slightly soft shank, they are great shoes and last quite a while. For me, they almost last about 4 or 5 months, which my mom loves.

Joy06/07/2008 Tennessee,
I have had 3 pairs of these shoes and I love them! They are really easy to balance in. I don't know why some people think they aren't! And I love the heat technology! I will probably buy many more pairs of these to come!

Emily06/03/2008 Colorado,WOW THESE ARE COMFY. TOO SOFT THOUGH!
When I tried these on, they were super comfortable. I would have bought them, except for the shank. It's SO soft, I felt like I was in a constant upward battle. The shank may as well have not existed! I thought I may break the shank in the store, even with my fairly low/medium arches! Shame. If they had these in a harder shank (and let me just say I order a medium in Capezios, which most think is super soft) I would buy a bunch of these. How sad... I think us dancers need to petition Bloch!

Tights?
What color convertible tights would go with these shoes.
Typically ballet pink or white is worn with pointe shoes. Since these shoes are Bloch, a Bloch ballet pink tight would be the most comparable. - DDS Customer Service (06/25/2013)
The shoes seem to be a pretty "average color". The satin is very shiny.
I personally think they would look nicer with lighter pink tights versus the darker pink mesh ones. - Galina (07/21/2014)
