Bloch's "Axis" pointe shoe with ThermoMorph Technology (TMT) has a U-shaped vamp, medium shank, flat streamlined toe, lowered sides and angled seaming to minimize bagginess. This quiet shoe also features a curved last. Ribbons not included.

About TMT: Your shoes are labeled 'left' and 'right'. Once you have activated TMT with each shoe, they will be molded to the form of either your left or right foot. Until now, the process of breaking in pointe shoes has been long and painful. It is not until a pointe shoe is 3/4 of the way through its lifespan that it reaches optimal performance and comfort. To redress this imbalance Bloch has developed TMT, an advanced formula, heat activated paste. TMT enables you to drastically accelerate the breaking-in process by molding your pointe shoes to the unique contours of your feet from the very first wear.

    Tights?

What color convertible tights would go with these shoes.

Typically ballet pink or white is worn with pointe shoes. Since these shoes are Bloch, a Bloch ballet pink tight would be the most comparable.

The shoes seem to be a pretty "average color". The satin is very shiny. I personally think they would look nicer with lighter pink tights versus the darker pink mesh ones. - Galina (07/21/2014)
