my daughter is on Bloch aspiration pointe shoes - she is a 6 and width D. Could anyone recommend a soft bloch (demi pointe) shoe that would be ok? She currently has Grishko but wondered about bloch.

Unfortunately we do not have exact measurements for width. A "B" is considered narrow, a "C" is a medium, a "D" is a medium wide, and an "E" is a full wide. I wear a sizes 8, 8.5. and sometimes a 9 in women's wear. This is my first time ever purchasing pointe shoes and I was wondering since I can wear any of those sizes I listed what will my size be for these pointe shoes.
The sizing suggestion on this particular pointe shoe is to order 1 1/2 to 2 sizes smaller than your street shoe. When ordering pointe shoes for the first time, we do recommend getting fitted for them. You can never be sure what size you are until you have been fitted. Go to a dance store and have a trained employee help.

I wear 3C in the Serenade. What would my size be in the Aspiration? My shoes size is 6 1/2
The Serenade pointe shoe runs larger than the Aspiration. The Serenade suggests going down 3 sizes from street shoe, whereas the Aspiration recommends going down 1.5-2 sizes from street shoe. This would mean that you would want to go up 1 to 1.5 sizes. Ultimately we recommend being sized for any new pointe shoe at a dance store as incorrect sizing can create ankle and foot damage. - DDS Customer Service (06/12/2013)
I suggest you try this shoe on, ALL Bloch style's fit very different I worked in a store for several years and the sizing is so different from shoe to shoe. I'm a 7.5 in jazz, are the sizes the same for pointe?
