I ordered these for my jazz hop class performance, they are tight, itchy and poorly made. The fabric is cheap, and there was big spots missing sequins. If you zoom in the picture shows the entire thing covered in sequins, but in reality they were all covered about 70%. The rest is a cheap white fabric showing under the silver. IT IS NOT A DRESS! Luckily we ordered metallic shorts, a leo won't cut it here. The bottom doesn't cover the bottom, buyer beware. Cheaply made, if we had time to reorder we would return them!
We were shocked when we got this in how short it is. I only had 8 girls in it and 3 practically had their rear ends hanging out of a size med. Slender girls that would normally wear smalls but I got them med. for length...good thing I did! Also, just didn't have any shape, just hung like a sack. Not a lot of money but still disappointing. :(
I ordered this cute tunic, in several colors, for a recital piece. My dancers range from 8-13 in age and are a variety of shapes and sizes.
We ordered, following the fit guide measurements. And as we planned to use the tunics again; to allow or future grow, we even ordered up a size. When they costumes arrived, the dancers loved them. However, we found that the sizes ran extremely small, even on our tiniest dancers. We scrambled to make a quick exchange order. We also exchanged up, between our dancers. Very few colors were available when we made our exchange order.
We are wearing these over a camisole leotard to counter the minor "sequin itch" factor.
Again, our dancers love the tunics, especially in the purple and turquoise. My only complaint is that this particular item tended to run quite small.
All of the customer service reps that I spoke to were very, very helpful, patient and ready to resolve this problem. KUDOS to them all!!!! And yes, I highly recommend this company.
I have this for my dance team at school in red and it is too cutee! We have so many comments on it and from other dancers. It is true to size, but it is REALLY itchy. We have to put a cami and shorts under it becuase of it. And it is also not good to wear with your hair down becuase it pulls. But other then that GREAT!
I got this in silver for a lyrical jazz solo, and styled it like the silver one in the picture, with the black pants, black belt, and fingerless gloves. I'm 5'3, 117 pounds, and I got a medium. It was a little longer on me than in the picture, but I'm kind of short, so I expected that. It does irritate under your arms, and the sequins scratched me because I had to change in a hurry. I would definitely wear a leotard underneath, but it looks great onstage!
We used these at school in red, and since they reuse them we wore leotards under them. They are really easy to dance in, but yes your underarms will get a little irritated. The color really stands out under the stage lights!
