I have two jade colored leotards and only one of them is actually green. This one is turquoise/Caribbean blue. Gorgeous color anyway, but not what i had originally wanted. That said, i love this leotard, wrong color and all. Unfortunately, during the first few times i wore it, the inside seams at the straps started to fray and split apart, so i had to sew some up but really once the unraveling got about an inch in, it stopped due to the reinforcements. This leotard is very strong especially in the middle and bottom. It literally sucks you in and makes(me) look 10 pounds thinner. I have a medium and it fits beautifully and snugly. The fit at the top is very secure but it is somewhat low cut. The back is a great design but the straps tend to get twisted when you put in on.Still, i love this leo. one of my favorites.
When I first received this leotard in the mail I was so excited. When I tried it on the bottom fit but the top didn't fit at all. It was way to big so I thought I could fix it by taking in the straps which I did and it came out alright but this leo would just work better on a bustier person. The first time I wore it to class it was super uncomfortable and after the first wash all the seams at the top all kinda came out. Overall this leotard is really cute and a pretty blue turquoise color but, this just isn't a durable or comfortable leotard.
Contrary to the reviews I read upon ordering this leotard, I LOVE IT. I ordered a medium in black (I am 5'4" about 125) and it fits extremely well and I love the fabric it is made out of. It fits really well and the back is extremely flattering! I can't wait to wear it in class!
I received this leotard as a gift recently and let's just say it is all wrong. The bust area was too large and the bottom cut my leg/butt in a tight and awkward way. If I adjusted the straps it may have worked (I have to adjust straps for many of my clothes), but beauase the way the rest of it fit I didn't feel it was worth it. If you are bustier it might work out, but the review above does not make it sound too promising either. I don't know how else to describe the awkwardness of this leotard but WearMoi and Mirella leotards fit me nicely so I don't think it is necessarily my body shape(I am a 34A bust, 24.5 inch waist and 34.5 inch hips). Would not recommend this leotard:(
I bought this leotard because I thought it would be a nice, fun, colored leo to wear to dance. I'm 5'3 and got the medium which fit nicely except around the bust. The leotard criss-cross in the back has no elasticity and it caused the leotard to slip down past my chest area when I was just moving around (when I tried it on at home). I couldn't wear it and had to send it back.
For a dancer, I have a larger backside. It's not too big, but lots of times, leg holes on leos are strangely tight. How does this one fit?
The Natalie brand does tend to run a bit small, however the leg holes should run normal. I would suggest going by the hip measurement to decide which size would be best. - DDS Customer Service (10/15/2013)
