I really do love this skirt especially since it is a pull-on. the only thing that is hard about it is that it doesn't have an elastic waistband, so if you are doing any kind of partnering class, it may slide. Otherwise, it fits pretty true to size, and it's a very classic and cute style!
my mom bought me this skirt for my 9th birthday fits perfect and I have worn it about 5 times but the only catch is that it is starting to look rough after being in the washing machine a few times.........don't wash it to much overall great product.
Lovely little lacey skirt, very popular with the dancers. Young ones can get the Petite adult size too. Look great on, but this is definetely made for the "dancers" body, so if you have hips, get the next size up ;)
I really like this skirt because it is a pull-on, really pretty and comfortable. I have 4 other skirts that are wrap-around and wanted something different and more convenieint to put on. Based on sizing and recommendation, I ordered Medium. Turns out I should have gone with a Small. I am 5'3, 107 lbs, and 26 waist. The skirt is shorter in front and longer in back, but though it is not too short for me, compared to my Mirella, it does not cover as much of my thighs.
NOTE: It was holding up well with wear and tear. I had been handwashing and air-drying. After about 5 times of wear, I accidentally put this in dryer. It stretched out and the lace came out fuzzy, and now the edge of skirt has minute threads hanging. I can still wear it but it looks like I have had it for 3 years versus 4 weeks. And now sits even lower on my hips. I ordered another one, this time Small.
I love the look of the lace skirt with a leotard however the first time I wore the skirt it had some static cling. I have yet to wash it and wear it again but this was not a big issue. The fit was great once I got it over my hips. The elastic is not that stretchy so you have to ease it onto your waist over your hips so you don't rip the waist band. The cuteness factor, however, outweighed these two problems.
