AerialArtsVixxen06/04/2015HOUSTON! THIS OUTFIT IS A PROBLEM!
I purchased this outfit for purpose of using it for Aerial Silks performances. Not only is this outfit difficult to get on if you're not a size 0 in jeans, I'm a 3, lean and athletically built. The seams themselves aren't stitched very well, I've have to hand stitch several of them back together that I didn't find until after I had taken the tag off. And then found more after simply doing one rehearsal run through in it. Unfortunately I can no longer return this :(.

Sim101/27/2015LOOKS GREAT BUT.....
Leg elastics are tight. Great because the costume didn't ride up, but the fit was snug.
Great material. Never snagged. Durable.

so we got these for a costume, and let me tell you-- the leg holes are not made for dancers with leg muscles. the elastic around the leg holes was so tight and small, it was ridiculous! All of my dancers are lean, healthy dancers but these leg holes were made for someone with zero muscle on their legs. We cut half-way through the elastic to loosen them up (don't cut all the way through because then the leg holes get GIANT) and that seemed too work well. we just cut tiny holes on the inside side of the casing and stuck the scissors in to make the cut. it was tedious but works. Other than that, the costumes fit the piece perfectly.

peoplelife07/13/2014SMART AND SASSY BIKETARD
I used this biketard for my jazz solo this year, and it has been one of my favorite costumes ever and it is very smart because it has this thick section at the end of the shorts that keeps it down on stage so you are not worrying about it riding up and you can just dance. The one problem is that it came with a ripped seam at the zipper making it hard to do up but it was not noticeable after it was done up.

MiaBallerina12/24/2013LOOKING FORWARD TO WEARING THIS UNITARD.
I'm glad I read the reviews because you definitely want to size up with this unitard. The thick bands on the shorts seem to hold the shorts pretty well in place so you won't have to be pulling them down, however they are very fitted and don't really have much give in them but not to where its too uncomfortable for my taste. The sleeves are the perfect length and the overall quality of the unitard seems great. If you are on the busty side, I would say you'd need some extra support in the bandeau top because it only has a thin lining in it. I think the only downside of the unitard is the zipper - you'll need someone to help you zip up and down, but not a huge problem since I'm sure I'll be able to find someone to help. :)

threeballerinas09/28/2013WELL MADE BUT RUNS VERY SMALL
Ordered this for my daughter but have to exchange for a bigger size (but still not sure if one size up will work). She measured well within a size SMALL using the sizing chart provided. She is 5'3 and weights 118lbs. She has a somewhat lean, muscular build but nothing extreme. She was unable to get the biketard pass her lowers hips, that is how small it was. There is a thick, tight band that goes around the bottom of the shorts that is one inch thick. You can't notice it in the picture. There is very little give in the band. If you have thinner than average legs, then the sizing chart may work for you because of this tight band. Otherwise, I would order a size up. It seems to be well-made and the fabric is thick. The mesh seems well made too.

minaa04/29/2012SIMPLE AND STYLISH
I weigh 90Lb. and XS was perfect size for me. I can wear in one step and it's finished. It's that simple. There's zipper in the back so until I get used to zip up alone I guess somebody has to help me. It gives Clean body line and you can show off your abs too.

Can I purchase this product in an adult x-large?
The largest available size this unitard is offered in is adult large. If you are in need of a larger size, please contact customer service for special order information. - DDS Customer Service (02/24/2014)
So I am an aerialist with the blue moon circus and turners circus and I just recently ordered this for upcoming performances. I did all the appropriate measurments and the sizing chart put me at a size small, but my bust area was sized as a large. I got the medium size but i was wondering if the top came with a built in bra.
Unitard features a solid bandeau top. You may need to purchase a bra undergarment for extra support. - DDS Customer Service (10/02/2013)
No, it doesnt have a built in bra. - Kaylah (07/20/2014)
hi, it doesn't have a built in bra, but I'm a D cup and didn't have an issue. It covered everything. though one of my friends, who is a DD had a couple moments where so felt a little uncomfortable so she just wore a little bandeau underneath - Choreographerladyperson (11/15/2014)
