What does the fabric feel like?

Does it feel similar to other Natalie leotards (like the one with the strappy elastic back)?

The N8601 is slightly more silky as it is 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex. The N8608 strappy back leotard is 86% Nylon and 14% Lycra.

    How Durable is the Mesh?

I received this leotard, and was super careful of the mesh when I tried it on. It fit just right, so I took it off, and discovered a section of the mesh in the front had torn away from the elastic band around it. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you think I just got a defect, or is this leotard just not very durable?

Please call customer service at 1-800-470-1664 for assistance on this possible defective item

I haven't had any problems with the mesh yet. - Mara (01/24/2013)

On a scale of 0-10 it is about an 8.5 or a 9 it has very durable mesh ad is a super cute leotard! - Dancerdance (02/15/2013)

I find that anything with mesh is more delicate. Mesh is easily snagged and can easily get runs. Mesh is also hard to catch when sewing, so what you explained often happens to things like this made in great quantities and not hand sewn one by one. They probably just didn't catch the mistake, but it is a flaw. - Catherinedanae (06/10/2013)

Mine has remained in tact, surprisingly. I have been dancing for 15 years and worn many mesh leotards. Typically, mesh leos tend to tear at the seams or fray after washes. They aren't very durable in general. I think Ive just had good luck with this one (had it about 4 months and wear it at least once a week) - Lesmi (07/02/2013)

mine actually is very well made and fits well but i am still careful with it - Ballerinaaemily (08/21/2013)
