  • Stylish leotard, but runs small length-w

    by: MissBallerina - 10/03/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

This leotard is beautiful, but it runs small length-wise. I would advise ordering one size larger than you think you need. However, be careful because the size that "just" fits me length-wise is also a little big in the bust, even though the measurement-guide stated that it would be perfect. So the leotard runs small length-wise, but a little big in the bust. But it is gorgeous & comfortable & seemingly durable!

  • The item is great quality

    by: Pollito - 09/25/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

The item is really nice and the material is great - it breaths. The only thing is that it runs a large. I would recommend this product and re-purchasing the item in a smaller size as we loved the material and the cut.

  • Nt Comfortable. At All.

    by: Ballerinagirl101 - 03/05/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I only had this leotard on for a short time, but already, the straps dug into my shoulders. The leg holes are cut low and are very tight, making it very uncomfortable. It pinched my legs and made them bulge quite unattractively. The fabric of the straps is itchy and harsh, and does not stretch well. The leotard itself is actually very long as well; made for someone with a longer torso. Usually, I have absolutely no problems with leotards, and I've never really had a problem with anything from Discount Dance. However, this leotard just doesn't seem proportioned or made well.

  • Pretty, but takes some getting used to!

    by: MissGrenko - 01/19/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I love the design of this leotard, but I have had a few problems! This is actually my second one, because the first one I owned got ruined in the washing machine. I'm not really sure how to describe it...it's like the fabric melted or something. Very weird, but I had owned it for over a year and washed it hundreds of times! However, I loved the design enough that I bought a second one. The straps are a bit tight at first, but will stretch out with time. The fabric is also different feeling, as it does not feel like most nylon leotards. It feels somewhat cheap, but the fabric does dry quickly. I would probably recommend this leotard for a performance or audition, but it doesn't quite make my comfort standards for an everyday class leotard. It's still very beautiful though!

  • One of my favorites!!

    by: thatdancergirl - 01/15/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I love this leo!! I'm 5'5", 111 lbs and got a medium and it fits really good! Make sure to keep washing it though because mine got baggy after not washing it after a few times. The material is super comfortable and WAY flattering!! The straps don't bother me at all or anything but one thing I don't like is the leg cut which is really low. But other than that I love and would recommend buying it!

  • Runs Too Small

    by: Kaitlin - 09/15/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I'm 5'11", 155 lbs and I bought this leotard in my normal size, medium. I could barely reach past my thighs and then I could barely reach one arm through. I can see that it will be very flattering, so I will exchange for a large. It's also not very elastic.

    by: GrlEEEgrl - 08/17/2013

I just received this item today and will be returning it. The fit was fine, although it is hard to get on, but it has a cheap, see through quality to it.

  • One of my favorites

    by: rochesterballetgirl - 06/27/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I am 4'11'' and 100 pounds, 32B. When I first bought this in small, it was too long for me, so I switched to a XS and it was perfect. Like a lot of other reviewers, I find the leotard more difficult to put on than all the other leotards that I have ever worn because the straps are not elastic. I have narrow shoulders, so it is not a problem but I will not recommend this to people with bigger hips or shoulders because the leotard hardly stretches. However, the material, cut and design makes the leotard very flattering. I did not find it too low in the front.

  • N elasticity

    by: Fabrizio - 10/28/2012

    Comfort:

It runs small and no elasticity. I am 5"7' 117LB and usually wear size S, but it has to be size M for this leo. It has very little elasticity, and that makes the leo not hugging my body in right places. Thus, when I wear it, I feel that my body doesn't look its best.

  • A really good leotard!!

    by: biddy223 - 10/25/2012

    Comfort:

    Durability:

Overall, I love this leo. The straps were better than I expected, and the material is really comfy. the only problem I had with it was the neckline was a little low. So if you're not shy about that, than this a really good leo!

    Comfort:

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

This is my absolute favorite leotard. I'm 5'7'', 130 Ibs. C cup. I love this leotard. It fits my torso perfectly. I was worried about the v-neck because most leotards I own typically I become frustrated with because the top will fall down and I have to keep pulling it up but this leotard fits very well in the bust. The back is a bit exciting with the multiple straps but not distracting and is still elegant and modest. The only issue I've ever had is that one of the straps broke within the first couple weeks of having it. The inch or two braid across the middle in the back, on one end it separated but I am still able to wear it, it's just more of an abstract back now :)

  • gorgeous leo with unique details

    by: pixypetals - 05/31/2012

    Comfort:

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

I am 5'4", 107 lbs, 32C, 26" waist. I ordered a Small in black. There is a very slight sheen to the leo and appears to be sturdily constructed. I love the multi-strap back and it doesn't bother my shoulderblades at all. It definitely a ballet cut leg line, but overall the leo is flattering. I am a small C cup and find that this leo provides me with adequate support, though if you are self-conscious you may find that the neckline is a bit low. This leo is not particularly stretchy - I noticed that in the lower back as I work on those muscles frequently and it is a bit of a tight fit there.

  • Good for a long torso

    by: MischievousMe - 04/28/2012

    Comfort:

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

I really love the decorative straps on the back. This leotard can be a little awkward to put on because of them, though, but is pretty comfortable while you are wearing it. The material is a little on the thin side, but because it is in black, it doesn't matter as much. The bust comes up to a fairly modest height, and it also comes up higher underneath the arms, so you don't have to worry about bending or stretching in it.

    Fit: True to size

I love this leotard so much. I'm 5'7'' and 130lbs and I have a longer torso. I go between a medium (which fits me usually) and a large (for my torso length) but this was the perfect length. I have small breasts and it fits really well in the chest area. The straps are hard to get on but that's 5 seconds of hassle for a super comfortable and secure feeling leotard. I love it and it looks really flattering.

I got a medium and it fit nicely, i'm 5'9, 34B. The only thing I have to say is that there was some extra fabric underneath the arms where the first strap connects and I think after I sew it it should be fine, otherwise it fit great and it's very pretty!! I love the front and I personally didn't find it too low.

This is a beautiful leotard! I got my normal size and it fit perfectly. I'm not sure if this is the best leotard for you if you have big breasts. I'm only a 32A and I still have a few problems. The straps are absolutely gorgeous and aren't annoying once you get used to them. But other then that it is awesome!

  • Not for me

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

I have always loved this leo and when I finally purchased it, it didn't fit! I am 5'6"/5'7" and am about 130 pounds. The large was so huge on me, there were inches and inches of extra material! Too bad, it's a very pretty leo. The back is just beautiful. The sides pop out when you bend or twist to the side, though, and the front is made for a smaller chest. Once again, too bad.

  • Beautiful!

    by: Charlotte - 10/17/2009 - A2, Mi,

    Comfort:

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

I wasn't expecting this leo to be amazing, because I didn't know what Nylon/Spandex looked like, but I took a chance because the back looked so beautiful. I love this leotard!!! I was worried that the material would be shiny and unflattering (my biggest leo pet peeve!), but it's really silky and only has a liiiittle bit of sheen, so that's fine. The back is my favorite part! It highlights my back muscles and collar bone because of the thin delicate-ness that's carried to the front, which comes to a perfect cut at the bust. Just a slight warning, there's no lining, but it was a big surprise to see that it gives quite good support. I am 5'4, 103 lbs, with a medium torso. It fits flawlessly, and unlike everyone else, the straps are nowhere near too tight. If I could change ONE thing about this, I'd make the legline higher. It's standard ballet cut, but I wish it was jazz cut because it makes legs look longer. Love this. Even my friend who NEVER gives me compliments (seriously) complimented me when I wore this! She sounded genuine--and the best part about this is that it's so unique! Absolutely nobody at my studio has this, and it's my favorite intricate-backed leotard. If you're contemplating the Capezio ABT cami with the cutouts--get this instead.

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

I bought this leo a little while ago liking the back and cut. The second I tried it on I liked it. It's very fitting and I love the material. The only problem I have had is the straps. They are very stretchy so there isn't a ton of support in the front and I constantly have to pull it up. But over all it's a great leo to have especially for auditions or tryouts where you are looking for a classy look. I would also recommend going down one size than usual. I am usually a L and a M fits perfectly.

  • Gorgeous back - and nice front

    by: Roz - 10/11/2009

    Comfort:

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

I bought this leotard in the "L" size. I am 5 ft 7in tall and weigh 175 pounds. In general the leotard fitted just fine - but as others have mentioned it is very long in the body. I am contemplating altering it somehow before using it in a performance since the body is about 2in too long for me. The quality and detailing of the leotard is lovely though so I am not disappointed in that regard.

  • Perfect except for straps

    by: Amy - 04/26/2009

    Comfort:

    Durability:

    Fit: True to size

I agree with the previous review. I have a long torso, so I usually get a large. When I got and tried on this leo, it fit great. The only problem were the straps, which were too long, and the sides, which pop out when I move side to side, right below the armpit. Other than that, it is very form fitting, creates a beautiful line, the front isn't too low, the leg line isn't too high, and is an all over great leo. I'm going to exchange for a medium to see if I can get a more snug fit.
