Adult Metallic Dance Shorts

I have a 28" waist but 38" hips. I'm trying to figure out what to buy, but between customer reviewsthe size chart, I don't know what size to get!

Hello! Thank you for contacting us. The size we would recommend for the waist measurement of 28" inches is the size large. We recommend to go up the next size if the measurement is more than 28".

My daughter regularly wears a size L in most the dance shorts I order because she is tall 5'9". in Reading the sizing for these metallic shorts it appears she would also wear a L in these as the inseam is 2 1/2 and the rise is 9" but the reviews all say this short is cut very small and many had to go up 1-2 sizes. Can you please confirm that to be true and I should order my daughter a size AXL. She wears a size 5 or 7 in street jean shorts but can wear a size M in Gia Mia brand metallic shorts that have a 2 1/2 inseam and a 10" rise. Please advise as I need to purchase these very soon for a show June 10th.

I went Large based on the reviews as well. After getting them I realize I could've probably ordered a medium or even a small and been fine. I am 5'4" and 140lbs. With them being shorts they do naturally ride up during performances but nothing worth being worried about - Sia13 (07/20/2015)

The inseam for these shorts range from 1 1/2 - 2 2/3 inches. Please refer to the sizing tab for the exact inseam for the size you are looking for.
