For a recent performance I needed a bra to wear under a leotard-type costume, that was really stretchy and provided no support. I got this bra because the bandeau style seems to be the most supportive and minimizing of the dance bras available. I am a 34D, so I do want both of those things in a bra. I got a small, because like I said, I want it to be as tight as possible and still allow me to breathe! Well, even with the small, I still had to take in the bottom edge of the bra to get it to support me without everything falling out of the bottom, if you know what I mean. I think more of a band on the bottom would be a good addition to this bra. Once I did that, however, it did provide me with enough support for what I needed. The bra did have to be pinned to my costume though, because it rode up too high, particularly in the back - again, if it were tighter, this wouldn't have been an issue. So keepin mind your size when ordering.
This bra is wonderful! It's so comfortable and soft! I love it! Although, the back does rise, it's still great. This year I don't have any costumes that have a low back, but I do have costumes that are strapless. I needed a bra that either had clear, removable or no straps. So I chose this bra. It was only 12.95 so I thought, why not? Anyways, I have a small chest (34 bust, but barely a A cup.) So I also didn't need a bra with a lot of support... I just needed something to cover me while changing, and not bounce around during dancing.
Overall it's nice. I am a medium/large chested girl, even though I'm pretty petite, and I like a lot of support. This provides it, and it really makes you feel comfortable. Since it is rather rectangular, it does make it difficult to conceal under costumes, but usually it works OK.
