The way this material holds "black" dye is actually more of a light black or charcoal. We are working to put a disclaimer on the website. The color unfortunately will not be changed on the website from "black" as it is due to the material, not the color. - DDS Customer Service (06/19/2013)

faded BLACK.....not charcoal....and it is super soft. If you wear it with black tights, you will see the difference. But I wear pink tights, so it looks black - Olddancer (11/06/2014)
