I LOVE this leotard! I wore it for the first time yesterday, and it was so comfortable! The straps do NOT pull on my neck because they are so wide and of thinner material. Although the fabric is thin, There is sufficient coverage in the front area. This is definitely my new favorite leotard! It is very flattering in all areas and I feel that I definitely got my money's worth.
I would TOTALLY recommend this to a friend.
The only down side is really minor, and it's that sometimes when I do my combre to the back it goes a little lower in the front than I'm usually comfortable with. However, I was not constantly pulling it up as I do with some leotards
. I'm 5' 4", 115 lbs., and the small was perfect for me! THIS LEO IS AMAZING!!!! It's a must have.
This is absolutely my favorite leotard by far! it's so comfortable and the material is very soft and durable. I have had my black one for this whole year and i wear it probably 3 hours a week out of my 7 hours of dance a week. I wish it came in ballet pink though, because if it did i would be wearing this leotard 7 hours a week! I ordered the turquoise about 3 months ago. I have been wearing it to all my solo classes because the color is so pretty! It is a bit darker than it looks in the picture, but i really wish that I was allowed to wear that color to my regular classes. But I have been wearing the black to all my classes I can!! I feel that if they made it in ballet pink or white, it would hide pit stains and you wouldn't have to wear a bra under it because it wouldn't be see through in the lighter color! I say buy this leotard now!!!!
This leotard is so beautiful and comfortable! I have it in the color teal, it is maybe a bit darker than pictured. The teal is very, very pretty, and the cross in the back, the cute rouched straps, and the pinched front are all simple details that makes this leotard a standout from the rest!
This leotard doesn't show sweat stanis, even though I find that some colored ones do. I am 5'2'', 105 pounds, and a B cup with a medium length torso and legs, and the small fits fine on me. It's not so tight-fitting or "small" that I can't see someone taller wearing the small. Basically, if you follow the sizing chart, you should be good, but I do think if you had similar measurements to mine, or even if you were just 5'1'' you could go for the small and not have it look awkward.
This leotard gives me pretty good support, with the lining in front. Generally when I do cambres, especially back, I don't have to worry about it, whereas I would have to with another leotard. I don't have to wear a bra with it (though I never do with most leotards anyways). I think you should be okay even if you're a littlle more "gifted" in that area, because the fabric of this leotard is better than alot of the thin, flimsy leotards that collect dust at the bottom of my closet -_-
I think it looks super pretty, and I get compliments on it alot from the girls at my studio, and my teachers. I really want to get it in the black, and I wish that Discount Dance offered it in more colors (My friend has this leotard in the most gorgeous, prettiest, springtime/blossom/carnation/valentine's day pink...) and I am going to purchase it in black, also. The width of the straps are exceptionally pretty, along with the rouching and "X" back. Although it is more on the expensive side- for me at least :)- it will last you forever between machine washes, the color will stay vibrant, you will look and feel classy and amazing, and you certainly will not regret buying it.
Summary: BUY THIS LEOTARD NOW :) it is gorgeous, comfortable, and durable, so why not??
