Danskin's super soft, microfiber, convertible, faux back seam tight features a mid rise, a dyed-to-match coolmax gusset, and a beautiful matte finish that drys quickly and offers the stretch and recovery of spandex. Perfect for keeping cool during dance class or performances.
These tights are extremely soft an comfortable. A lot of other tights make my legs break out in hives, but not these! The waistband doesn't cause that belt-too-tight look. These wash well and wear well.
Their one flaw is that the foot opening isn't done very well. It's bound with a roll-hem, which doesn't give it the same stretch as a serged and bound end, like the 72 has. You're far more likely to get a run with these tights because of that, but if you keep a good ol' bottle of clear polish in your dance bag, you'll be fine.
I usually machine-wash, and hang dry. I've noticed no difference between hand- and machine-washing, though drying in a dryer dried the elastic and wears them out faster.
Sure the seam would be a little wider, but that's not enough to pan these tights. My complaint with them is the way the foot holes are bound lets them run pretty easily when you pull them over your heel. Keep a bottle of nail polish with you.
However these tights are very song and comfortable. I have a latex sensitivity and most other tights have some content that includes latex (a lot of rubbers and stuff in some spandex formulas include latex). Dankin's ultrasoft microfiber absolutely does not., nor does the regular microfiber. This and 702 I highly recommend (and 72 for those desiring footed) , and I will put up with runs for the pleasure of not breaking out in hives.
these are the best seamed tights ever because they are no mesh. yes the seam is small but it stays put and is not uncomfortable like some other seams. also the color is perfect ballet pink :) the seam adds a nice line
These tights are super soft because of the microfiber material. They don't make your legs hot like the nylon ones do! But the downside is definitely the barely-noticable seams. I wish they made the seams a little bit thicker because you can't really tell they're there unless you're up close.
