This princess seam camisole leotard from Capezio's "Classics Collection" features a moderate V-front and back and a ballet cut leg line. White and pink colors have full front lining, while all other colors are shelf lined. Machine washable.
I was very happy to get this leotard for my birthday until I discovered it was completely see through. Its really sad because it fit perfectly and was really soft. I bought the black and the purple. The black is not see through as of now but I can not wear the purple. I really hope they can fix this problem because I really like everything else about the leotard.
I loved this leotard. The lavender color is really beautiful, and the front seams are comfy and slimming. The quality is really great, and this leo has lasted for years. The straps are shorter than most, but it's not a huge problem. I gave it 4 stars for the support issue, though. Most of the reviewers, ranging from A-D chest size, thought the support was wonderful. However, it was too wonderful for me. I am a 32B, pretty small. The A cup reviewers thought it was great, as did the D cup reviewers. I'm in the middle of that, and it did NOT work out as for support. When I tried it on at home, it was awesome. But at the studio, it was so supportive that the shelf bra chest band kept riding up and creating funky lines. At one point, it actually pushed my B cups out of the leo. I ran embarassed from the room, hands over my chest. I wore it the next class with a sports bra. It now works wonderfully.
I love this! Everything about it is perfect- Bust lining is supportive enough, Doesnt show sweat stains, Simple yet very flattering, Comfortable, And it comes with a lot lf colors to choose from! I only gave this 4 stars though because of the size. I am normally a small, and the size chart says I should get a small so I did. I was disappointed when it came because when i tried it on, it was very tight around the hips. I was still able to wear it, however it was a little bit tiny for me. And considering its cotton and it would shrink after washing, i dont know how long I'd be able to wear this leotard. I got the color navy, and it was a really good color! Im going to buy a Medium next.
This could be a great leotard, if you are a very small person. I don't have your typical ballet body, I'm curvy and a bit chubby, but for most leotards, a large fits great.
I ordered an XL in this, hearing about how it ran small, but it's still way too tiny. It's kind of unflattering, because it's so small, and it's also a bit uncomfortable. I make it work, though, and it seems to be a nicely durable leotard.
I would only recommend this if you're very slim, and you should order 1-2 sizes larger than usual.
I love this leo! The princess seams are very slimming, and it's comfortable. However, the straps are kind of short, and often twist up on my shoulders, but I just ignore them. The first time I got it, I tried it on in the store. I am usually a medium, but I couldn't even get it over my legs. I am 5'2", 120 lb, and wear a C/D cup. The large fits perfectly. I just ordered another one. Capezio always runs small, but the products are great.
I got this in burgundy in a size M. it is very durable as I had it about 3 years and it still has plenty of life left. I love that it looks classic and I have gotten compliments on it in my dance class. It's a good leotard, but I can't wear it for a long time.
Large busted girls beware the straps dig into your shoulders and make this leotard very uncomfortable. There is a shelf bra, but no strap adjustments.
I own Capezio Tank Leotard (#CC202) and thought that this "sister" leotard would work perfectly since the tank one has a superb fit and durability. As some other reviewers point out, this leotard is cut differently with smaller arm holes, which means shorter straps. Compared to the Tank version, this cami leo feels cut smaller & tighter overall (ordered size M given I own its Tank version in size M; FYI: I am 5'2", 105lbs, flat chested with a longer torso & broad shoulders). Remember, the cotton shrinks, so, if you feel very tight on the brand new leotard, you won't fit the leo eventually sooner or later. However, other than the tight arm holes & short straps, I had no problem with this leotard--thus, I decided not to order size L for an exchange. Same as its Tank version, this leo is beautiful, very well-made and gives excellent support around the bust area with a double lining. This leo must work well for those who have very, very slender shoulders & arms.
This leotard is very flattering, has nice, thick material and good support, but dear God: Never have I ever bought a product with such bad sizing.
I bought this leotard and another leotard by Natalie at the same time, both mediums. The Natalie leo fit perfectly. This one, not so much.
It barely went over my hips and was extremely short. I think they might have sent me a doll costume. I do really like the leotard, though, and will be exchanging it for a larger size. Beware!
I've worn dozens of leotards and this stands to be my absolute favorite. It holds up through hours of wear without giving, and proves sturdy after weekly washes. It fits snuggly, but that is how I prefer since it gives me the support I need up top. The seams are simple and flattering. I highly recommend!
I like this Leo a lot because it is simple, cute, and elegant. It is pretty comfortable, although I notice I have to adjust it occasionally so it doesn't go into my shoulders. It fits well though and I'm OK with it. It works for me, I'm thin, small chested, and tall for my age. It provides support for my tiny A cups. I'm 5'4 & a 1/2 and I weigh ninety+ pounds. I'm 12 now.
I love this leotard. It's pretty, simple, and classic. Leg cut is lovely stays put without being matronly. Chest is snug and supportive. I bought one in black at my local dance shop and just ordered it in two more colors from discount dance.
This is the only cami leotard I can comfortably wear without a bra. I don't have a large chest by most standards, but I am an adult woman and mother (returned to ballet at 31 after quitting pre-pro program in my teens), and I need support in the chest to be comfortable, which isn't typical of balletwear. The V-neck is cute by slight and high, and the shelf bra really does hold my chest comfortably in place.
The cotton isn't nearly as stretchy as the similar Mirella styles so don't skimp on the sizing. Also the arm is cut fairly high, so going to small will leave you just generally miserable. I'm 5'6", 127. 34 B/C and a Large fits perfectly.
This is a great leotard. I have it in lavender and navy. The seams are so flattering! The navy is a very slimming color because it is so dark, like black. The lavender makes me look a little wide, but that's just me! It is very conforming, and the back is at a reasonable depth for dancers my age- low enough to air out your back, but not too skimpy! It is supportive and doesn't hang (if you get the right size). I am 5'4'', 110 lbs, and I have a long torso. I got a medium because the large was massive on me, but my only problem is that because I have such a long torso and this is made of cotton, the body is a tad too short for me and the straps dig in. It doesn't bother me, but I know it might bother some dancers who also have long torsos! This wouldn't be a problems for "proportionally correct" dancers. Overall, amazing leotard! Very flattering and comfortable!
I'm 5'7", 120 lbs, long torso. Usually larges are baggy on me so I ordered a medium hoping for a snugger fit, however the fit was far too snug. Although the sizing wasn't the best, the quality of the leo is good. I ordered a white and the peachy colored lining in the front is great.
I've had this leotard for several years and it has held up pretty well. The first thing I noticed when I put it on was that it was tighter than I expected. I usually wear a small or a medium in dance clothes. I bought this in a small and it was SMALL. Still fits, just a little tougher to get on and off haha. It has faded somewhat from numerous washings but hasn't gotten any holes or ripped any seams. For the price, not bad.
Best Leotard ever! I was a little weary with it being so inexpensive, but it is my favorite leotard. It is comfy and great for short torso people. I am 5'6'' 93 lbs, and a small fits perfectly. Not see through either, yet I am very flat chested.
There are only few leotards I can be perfectly happy, but this one is definitely one of them. And the first one from cotton. It fits me well and I bought pink and the color is very cute. This just arrived today and I ordered light blue just now.
This is probably my favorite out of the 30 something leos I own! It's soft and comfortable, not too low in the front or back, and has great support. It also fits perfectly against my back, it doesn't "poof out" like so many leos do on me. I have 1 in black in size small (and I usually wear mediums.)
I love this leotard, it is very slimming and holds nice and doesn't bubble in the back. I have it in the burgundy and royal and I want to get more. The only thing is that the straps are a little big so I tightened them a little and now its great!
I was looking for a nice basic leo, and this was a great buy! The fabric is nice and the fit is great! The front and back are both very flattering, which is hard to find. It's a good quality, classic leo that will last. Exactly what I expect from Capezio.
Hi there! I have to get a white cami leo for an intensive, and I was wondering how this leo fairs. Is it super see through? The intensive suggests a Mirella leo (M207L or M207LD). I have that leo in black and am not very found of it. Plus, reviews say the Mirella in White is quite see through. Does anyone know if this leo is better than the Mirella? Thanks!
Capezio is a good brand. This specific item provides a full lining in the white leotard, so it may not be as see through as other brands. I believe it will be personal preference as to which is better for you. - DDS Customer Service (06/15/2015)

I have been looking for a comfortable cami leo that I can wear without a bra. I saw in some of the reviews it has good support, but I wanted to make sure. I don't feel comfortable without a bra, but will this one work for jumps and barre and combos?
I would recommend item CC110 rather than this one. CC110 has a bra- an actual bra, not a shelf liner- built in to the leotard and will provide more support than a leotard with a shelf liner. - DDS Customer Service (09/22/2014)
It depends. The leotard runs extremely small, so you should order 1-2 sizes larger than usual. I'm a big-busted dancer, and I find even the XL to be too small and tight.
However, it does offer good support, I don't find myself jiggling during jumps. If you can fit into the leotard, yes, it offers good support. But it's a very small leotard. - Graydon (10/08/2014)
This leotard has a sturdy double panel on the chest area with the same fabric with under bust band support, which makes it one of the very few leos in the market giving you a very good bust support. However, this leo has very thin (though sturdy) straps with a smaller arm hole, compared to its sister leo with wider straps (Style No: CC202). If you are large-chested, I would recommend this sister leo with wider straps instead. - Rubieee (11/05/2014)
This is an insanely stupid question, but I'm trying to decide which color (lavender or light blue) would look best with a seafoam green wrap skirt. Please help me out!
Either combination must look very pretty. Seafoam green+light blue gives you a soft look overall while seafoam green+lavender gives you a bit more interesting and unique look with lavender works as an accent. So, if you want to stand out a bit, go with the green and lavender combo. If you want to look very soft overall, then go with the green and blue combo look. - Rubieee (11/05/2014)
