Will this band help with leg stretches?

I would like to also use a band for stretching my needle and straddle split. Is this band big enough for all of that, or would you recommend I just buy it for ankle strengthening?

This band is 48" in length and is intended to strengthen the ankles and feet. I suggest the I-Flex or I-Flex Jr. to best accommodate the stretch you're looking for.

I dont think this is long enough, ill recommend the flexi strecher, they have it here too, this is just for your ankle. - Alegro (05/29/2015)

Which weight would i start with in preparation for pointe?

    Medium or heavy weight

I would start with the medium weight for beginners.
    - DDS Customer Service (09/10/2013)

It all depends on how strong your feet are. The medium strength is like paper for me. - Taylor5827 (10/17/2013)

Will this exercise band provide the finishing touches I need to go en pointe?

Im very close to pointe, I just want to strengthen my feet and ankles a bit more before I start. Will this band help?

Yes, when used according to directions, this item will help strengthen your arch and foot
    - DDS Customer Service (11/27/2012)

Of course it will :) - Brixoxo (12/22/2012)

Yes! This band is reccomended by my studio for pre-pointe work. With the instructions provided with this band, you can greatly improve the strength of your feet/ankles! - Balletmags (12/26/2012)

Absolutely, but you need to use it properly. Slowly do 25 reps rolling through your demi-point to full-point every day. It will make you look more stable and less wobbly when you're on pointe. - Tinydancer500 (08/06/2013)

What is the best strength to use for someone who has been on pointe a year?

would it be super heavy or just heavy?

We can suggest to start with the Heavy Weight and work up to the Super Heavy Weight.
    - DDS Customer Service (10/03/2012)

I would say super heavy. Heavy is too light for me and I'm not even on pointe yet. - Brixoxo (12/22/2012)

    Super Heavy - Taylor5827 (10/17/2013)
