    THE SEAM IS PAINFUL

These toe pads are a good thickness and they cover my metatarsals well but the seam that runs across the bottom really digs into my big toe. It gives me a sharp pain that shoots up my foot. Wouldn't recommend if you have sensitive toes.

    PERFECT FOR SMALL TOES

I purchased the Jr. to replace my old Ouch Pouches, which are still not dead after 10 years of on-again off-again wear. The Jr. fit much better in my shoes without showing, as I have very short toes and always wear the lowest possible vamp. Perfect amount of 'squish'...I love Ouch Pouch the most.

    GREAT PADDING

I love these! I have tapered feet and these work very well for me. They are wonderful padding and not too thick. They also accomodate a low vamp which is nice. My only complaint is that the sides are a little low, I have to tape the joint just above my pinky toe.

    EH.

If I had no other toe pads with me for a class I could survive, but the losses outweigh the gains. I find that the seams on the sides of the toe pad causes some little blisters. I know that many of my friends use these, but I much prefer one with no seams. One thing I really liked about these was that they are both cloth and gel! I love the gel ones so that was a bonus I'm my opinion.

    THEY HURT!

If you have used gel toe pads before these, they hurt! For the price they are not very good.

They gave me blisters because of the fabric.

These are great! They really help keep you from getting blisters. The only thing is to watch out for your pinkie toe. They don't protect that knuckle.

    LOVE THEM

I have been dancing on pointe for 4 years now and I have used these for the 4 years. I had a pair of gel toe pads for back up and wore them every once in a while but they never let me feel the floor. These allow me to feel the floor but still have some padding. They are amazing no matter what type of floor you dance on.

    PRETTY GOOD

I have only been en pointe for a month, with 3 hours of pointe a week, and these seem to work well with my toe tape, spacers and lambs wool. They stay on well and generally, when I put them on right, they don't ever hurt.

These are the worst toe pads you can find! They ripped within the first week, and 4 of 5 of my classes a week are on pointe! They left marks on my feet, they stunk worse than cow manure, they didn't absorb the sweat, they made me slip around, and I had to take my pointe shoes off every 1/2 hour! And I take 2 hour pointe classes! Plus I got 6 blisters every month for 3 months! I especially don't suggest these for beginners because they hurt SO bad. Don't buy these.

    LOVE THEM!!!

I've had these toe pads for three years and they haven't worn out, they are by far the most comfy toe pads I've had yet. They are thin enough to feel the floor, but thick enough so there's a good amount of cushion! I would definitely recommend these to any one and everyone!

I've been on pointe for a little more than a year and the first things I used were the Bunheads Pro Pad. I HATED them! The seams went right on my toe and they were useless. I got these two months ago and it was actually comfortable to dance! What a change!!! Thank you Ouch Pouch!

    GREAT......UP UNTIL NOW

I got the Ouch Pouch when I started pointe half a year ago. They were great for my Boston Ballet Summer Program auditions, which I got into with elite early status. I loved them. Now they are flat and I might as well go without pads. Before, I wrote a review giving these pads four stars because of the big seam that ran along the top of my toes. I have VERY wide feet and the pads run halfway through my bunions and leave half unprotected. I've started going without pads and what I've found out is amazing. No bunching, less pain(amazingly enough) and not much bunion trouble. I also sometimes use the Freed toe pads which are MUCH better. I hate these pads and of course I bought them at a retail store for $22! I do NOT recommend these.

    WAITING

When I first started pointe they had no toe pads in the store and that was the only store in the area that sold them, so I had to wait two weeks. So I finally got these and they work like magic. I rarely get a blister and I have been using these for two years! They are just now starting to wear out!

    I LOVE THEM!

They are great for long pointe classes, and my feet have hardly hurt at all since I've gotten them. All of my classmates are using them and we love them!

I liked these but I needed more comfort en pointe. They were really good and I could feel the floor very well. The problem is they were too thin and my toes really hurt after class.
