  • These are long and warm!

    by: bunzai - 01/19/2016

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I love how long and warm these leg warmers are. The only down side is that they have a narrow thigh opening that is not stretchy. I have other long leg warmers from this site that have a thick stretchy band around the top, these are a little more constricting. They still go up pretty far on my leg and do the job.

  • Not good for the strong dancer muscular

    by: kdance - 11/03/2015

    Comfort:

    Durability:

These legwarmers keep your lower legs very warm! But... I have those large strong dancer muscular thunder thighs and can't get the top of them above my knees. I'm a male ballet dancer 5' 9" with long thick legs and my upper thighs are 29 inches cold. Couldn't squeeze into them, To tight on lower thighs, and you can't move your leg freely. For those of us with thick muscular thighs it would be great to have a plus size that stretches with our thighs. A variety of colors would be great #burgundy, gray, besides black and pink#. I don't wear them and have swithched to Harmonie brand 36". If you have wider hips and larger thighs like me they won't fit. Need larger sizes in this brand.

  • Soft, but top band too small to fit thig

    by: SSBB - 10/02/2015

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I've purchased Body Wrappers legwarmers for years, and have been happy with them, but these are impossible to wear. The top band is sewn with a non-stretchy thread, and so I can't even pull these up all the way around my thighs! They are quite narrow, and seem to be made for a child's leg (or a very, very tiny dancer, not a professional with any muscle). Would've returned if it weren't for the shipping costs; will probably give them away to a young student.

  • Comfy, but runs small

    by: poledancer - 07/30/2015

    Comfort:

    Durability:

These are really soft and comfy, but the elastic at the top runs extremely small. I'm 5'9" and about 145, and these were way too tiny at the top so I had to wear them folded down. Not the end of the world, but kind of defeats the purpose of thigh highs, could have just bought over the knee warmers instead.

  • unrealistically small thigh circumferenc

    by: desireepoledancer - 06/15/2015

    Comfort:

they fit beautifully aside from the fact that the thigh cuff only stretches to approximately a 16" circumference. No bueno. I'm about a 21" and I could not get these past the area just above my knee. Wish they'd provided max measurements in the product details... now I have to return them. *They also do NOT play about the 48" length.

  • So warm!

    by: HelenM22 - 11/23/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

These leg warmers are great for pointe work. The fabric is really soft and breathable. My only problem is that after a few classes the bottom of one of the leg warmers has started to unravel. The price is great and they are pretty well made.

  • One size fits most

    by: rarasaurous - 05/27/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I love these leg warmers, but I will say I feel like for curvier dancers, or those of us with more of an athletic build these are super tight at the top and tend to make a dent/muffin top on my thigh if I pull them all the way up. Maybe they could make a size up, or a "plus size" model? I cut the top so the it doesn't fold over, but it's still a little too tight to pull up into the middle of my thighs. I still love them and use them more than the 36" version that I got for Christmas.

  • Exactly what I expected

    by: Mitt3ns - 04/01/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I looked over the reviews of these and decided to go for it, for the price you can't go wrong. As others have said, they are narrow at the top if you don't have skinny thighs, but they are so long I am able to roll them and they look cute and fit just fine. Very comfortable and nice to wear, I enjoy them a lot.

  • new favorite legwarmers

    by: balletobsessed1 - 02/17/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

i love these legwarmers SO much. they are tight enough to stay up on my skinny legs but not so tight that they are annoying and hard to get all the way up over my knees etc. i haven't washed them yet but if you don't put them in the dryer they shouldn't shrink. I've worn them both in class and over leggins/boots out to dinner...might have to get another pair! Seriously the perfect over the knee legwarmers.

  • Warm, really comfortable

    by: Dancer4ballet - 01/01/2014

    Comfort:

    Durability:

At first I got the 36 inch version of these, but they didn't go as far up as they did in the picture. These are a little long on me, but I like my leg warmers to go right to the top of my leg. Although they are thin, they're really comfortable and warm you up very quickly. They don't have the fattening effect of some legwarmers, so I'm fine with wearing them in class. I got the pink, which is a nice colour because it's not striking and no one makes you take it off :). I love these!

  • Runs tight at the top

    by: CLSP - 12/03/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I love the look and feel of these legwarmers. Super warm and I love the stirrup. However, at 5'10 (and with most of my height coming from my thighs) these would not be as tall as pictured. Also, the top opening only goes about 1/3 up my thigh due to the narrowness at the opening. There's no way they would even fit around my top thigh even if they reached that tall.. With mediated expectations they're nice and only $10.

  • Another way to wear if your legs are big

    by: dinogirl - 10/27/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

At 5'9" and 150 lbs (size 8), I knew I would need at least the 36" legwarmer to get them to be thigh-high. However, the 36" are too tight at the top of my thighs. So, I buy these and roll them down at the top so that the elastic sits a bit above my knees with the fold at mid-thigh. Works perfectly if you have larger legs, and keeps me even warmer.

  • VERY long

    by: DancingGoddess - 09/15/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

These legwarmers, at least on me, were long enough to be baggy in the knees. I had no problem with tightness (some manual stretching worked well), but I don't care for the bagging. If you don't mind extra room where the extra length falls, then these will be fine for you.

  • little too long for shorter girls

    by: natashia - 09/10/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I am 5'4", and have them both black and pink. I certainly don't look like the model in the picture, and they are long. But if you are not going to stretch them all the way, you can wear them just fine. As for size, I weigh 103 pounds have fairly muscular legs, and they are not tight at all.

  • They are so tight!

    by: victoiram - 09/03/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

A few years ago I ordered the 36" leg warmers and they were great, so I decided to get the 48" pair as well. These are so tight I can't even get them halfway up my thigh! I'm about 5'9" and I have long legs, and they are not particularly thick, but I can only get these leg warmers up to just above my knee (not even as high as the 36" leg warmers." That being said, they are very durable, nice and warm, and they are well-made. The only con how tight they are!

    by: kaityk - 08/16/2013

    Comfort:

    Durability:

i love these leg warmers they do the job perfectly and are super comfortable. the only problem i have is the width considering i have bigger thighs. the leg warmers only go up about mid thigh, it would be nice if they made a size to accommodate dancers with larger, more muscular legs.

  • Comfy and Durable

    by: LittleEngine - 12/26/2012

    Comfort:

    Durability:

I love these legwarmers so much that i got both colors. They are indeed very long. I'm 5'5 and they go up to my hips fully stretched. Great for coverage when going from car to class. Nothing a little folding down can't fix once you're inside. They are super comfy and never fall down, even after a few washes. Durable and looks so pretty too.

  • Too small for muscular legs

    by: ashk - 10/25/2012

    Comfort:

    Durability:

Bought these in hopes they would keep my torn hamstring warm, but they are not wide enough to cover my thigh without creating a nasty bulge by the elastic. I solved the problem by rolling the elastic down once. They do stay in place and keep my legs toasty, though. I would suggest having a wider size available!

  • I can say I love them

    by: PerfectDiamond - 06/07/2012

    Comfort:

    Fit: Runs small

They came today, And I wanted SO BAD the longest leg warmers I could find that the first thing I did was to try them on. I read many reviews about how they run small on big thighs and how they fit perfect on thin legs... Well Lucky me I'm short and 5'1 ft tall and I have REALLY thick legs... Thanks to ballet They are not THAT big, But still are the biggest from the class (If we compare heigh, weight, and body structure) So the leg warmes are not THAT tight on me. They are still a little bit tight, but they doesn't cut my circulation. It might be because of my small height that the leg warmers have more fabric to stretch on my upper thigh but they are still a little bit tight on me. They are confortable too... I'm happy with them :) I recommend them to thin girls, Tall and thin girls, short and thickish girls, and for tall and big girls only if you really want some 48'' leg warmers and at your own risk... And for girls who are really big, They won't fit. They should have 2 sizes for this leg warmers... WE NEED THEM!

I got these almost 4 years ago and they have lasted me throughout college. Even though I've been washing and drying them with my other clothes, they still hold up like they did the first time I wore them. They only hold up with tights, not bare legs. Also, the bottom does not hug my foot. But they warm me up quickly and are really great.

  • They're okay for $9.80 but...

    by: Andrea - 07/27/2006 - Maryland,

    Comfort:

    Fit: Runs small

I have very muscular thighs and the top elastic would not fit to the top of my thigh, so I ended up cutting off the top and rolling them down to right above my knee. Also, the bottoms wore out rather quickly and started to unravel a little bit. If you have those dancer, muscular thighs, these are not for you.
