This dancebelt is actually one of the best I've worn. Perhaps its best feature is that, unlike some others, this one really hides everything so well! It smooths out the features you want smoothed out so that modesty may be fully preserved. It's excellent.
For any other commenters who aren't used to wearing a thong, well that is a separate complaint and should not be seen as a comment on the comfort of this dancebelt, because this dancebelt rocks!
Capezio #5936: The soft cotton quilting on the low-stretch front panel hides details under leggings/tights while comfortably holding you very firm (zero bounce) while not being too hot during a long run. This belt can be worn all day, everyday. Try this dance belt first - spend the few dollars extra - it's worth it. I also have the Capezio N26 belt, which is nearly the same but has a thin but durable front cotton panel that's not very soft. The N26 is also not as comfortable as the 5936 and shows more details, but it holds the same. As with all dance belts, the key to holding things in place comfortably is to have a wide waistband that is just tight enough create enough friction against the skin so the waistband does not move down when the front panel pulls on it during jumping or running. Moist skin greatly increases the waistband friction on the skin and can allow you to have less waistband tightness (a larger belt size can be used). Dry skin reduces skin friction which requires a tighter waistband (smaller belt size needed) for no movement. Non-oily moisturizers help increase skin friction as they make skin "sticky", which can help hold the waistband firmly in place without requiring it to be very tight.
I've only worn this dance belt a few times while costuming in a spandex unitard as a super hero. It is comfortable, although I'm still getting used to wearing a thong. The padding and molded cup hides my contours very well. This dance belt is great for costuming.
