  • Too bad about the color

    by: dancer1032 - 09/23/2012

    Comfort:

Everything's just fine with these leg warmers except the color. I can see now in the product picture that they're not the same black as the girl's leotard. I wear a lot of black to class and I really don't like how the faded black of my leg warmers looks with the sharp, crisp black of everything else.

I love these legwarmers! I got them in black and they keep my ankles so warm that I almost had to take them off! Personally, I prefer stirrup legwarmers because I feel like I'm going to slip in ones that aren't, but for some reason, I don't even notice the heel on these and never felt like I'd slip. I was able to wear them for modern and jazz too! Personally, I like mine really long, so I wish I would have gone with the thigh highs, but I still wear them all the time anyway.

  • by: Ballerina - 02/01/2009 - New York,

I LOVE them!!! They fit exactly the same as they do in the picture (the black legwarmers worn by the middle person). Note that these legwarmers do not have a stirrup. I'm 5'3" and they go about 3-4 inches above my knee. They don't get baggy after wearing, they keep my legs warm and the cotton is comfortable and looks really nice. I highly recommend them!!!

  • Surprisingly good!

    by: Chloe - 12/18/2008 - Colorado,

I have these in pink cotton and I really like them. They look good and they stay up REALLY well without a lot of bagging. I've had these for a year now and they've barely stretched at all. Very good basic leg warmers!

  • Loved the cotton!!

    by: Sandy - 07/21/2007 - Texas,

At first I got the acrylic and returned them because I didn't like the fabric. But then I got the cotton stir up kind and I loved them! They look super cute with pointe shoes.

  • Great legwarmers!

    by: Balletgirl - 06/30/2007 - New York,

These legwarmers are nice--really cozy. I kind of wish they were softer. They got a stiff feel to them after a few washes, but they kept me nice and warm at barre. These are a great buy.

  • Great!

    by: Sheens - 01/18/2007

I've had the 27" cotton ones about a year now, and they've never frayed or stretched, and I wear them at least 2x a week, usually more. The black has faded a little, and I have to wear them the opposite way because the elastic that's for the "top" was too tight. But they stay up pretty well and are very warm and cozy. They go to a few inches above my knee if I pull them all the way up.
