I got fitted for these at my local Capezio and absolutely fell in love! Incredibly comfortable and great support. I love Capezio and find their brand works best for me. As long as you are fitted by a professional for these, I'm sure they will work out great. My big toe is the longest so I use gel covers on my big toes along with my ouch pouches and dont feel any pain. I don't have any trouble getting over my box and the broader tip makes it easier to balance. Love this shoe!

BalletMouse12/22/2014SQUARE, SOFT, MINIMALISTIC.
My first two toes are of equal length, and the rest taper. This shoe is very square and requires a lot of wool to wear without excessive pressure of my big toes, but with that modification, I love the shoe. It's quite soft, right out of the box. The demi is automatically right how it needs to be, and the shank requires little break in. If you have weak feet that wear out shanks and require something hard to hold you up, choose another shoe. These really allow the foot freedom and really only work for people who don't rely on the shank at all. It wont do any work for you. The box is soft, and the hardness stops low on the toe. The vamp is fairly low. It really allows the foot to be shown off to it's absolute maximum and work without any annoyances or inhibition from the shoe.

Brianna03/05/2009VERY NICE FOR SQUARE FEET
After having several types of shoes, I have stuck with these ones ever since I first tried them on. I have square feet, so these shoes are perfect for those who do. I broke them pretty fast so I've had to order them with an extra hard shank. This makes them last a little longer. I don't think I could wear anything else!

I have pretty nice feet and a very flexible arch but these shoes made my feet look stumpy and archless. Getting on the box was nearly impossible. I have the Capezio Chasses now and they're MUCH more flattering and easy to work with.

Lani06/08/2007OK
Didn't take long for the box to become soft. Once box was soft, my feet sank. The low "U" vamp wasn't good for my long toes. This shoe was low profile and it was good in that way. Nice shank too.

Alejandra04/10/2007 California,BAD FOR WIDE FEET...
I'm a young dancer. Actually, these were my first pointe shoes. These pointe shoes are great, but not for everyone, especially the ones with wide feet and I'm somebody with wide feet. I recommend these shoes for people with regular feet.

Joan03/13/2007 California,GOOD BEGINNING SHOE!
I really enjoyed these as my first pair of pointe shoes. However, they made my slightly wide feet look very short and stumpy! But great feel other than the look!

Les02/13/2007GREAT!
These were my first pair of shoes, and I've recently bought them again. I have wide feet so they are great for me.

Janaye01/22/2007 Mt. Dora, Fl,GREAT!
I have what's called a "peasant foot" type which means I have 3 toes the same size and then the last 2 taper. This shoe is great for that! Not recommended to anyone with long slender feet. It does make your feet look a little stubby, but which would you prefer? Complete elegance and throbbing feet or a decent looking shoe that makes your feet feel so good, even after you dance? Well, if you have a foot like mine, go with this one. I've never gotten blisters with these shoes :)

Maggie06/29/2006 California,
I have danced in this shoe for 5 years and never had any problems. It is comfortable and supportive. I do competition and performance work along with classes everyday. My shoes far outlast my classmates' shoes !!!

I've tried these shoes twice because they are supposedly great for wider toe configurations, but I found them to make my feet look extra short and stubby. The toe box and the shank also break far too easily.

Anonymous04/01/2006WONDERFUL FOR WIDE FEET!
I have wide, square feet with moderate arches and find this shoe to be quite supportive and comfortable during long classes. I love the slighly flat profile--it shows my feet beautifully. Lasts a long time, too!
