These tights were super weird. I think I should have gotten the next size up. I always get the small/medium, but these tights were too small. They were very thin and wispy and ripped quickly. They were very sheer, I could easily just see my legs, it barely looked like I was wearing tights at all. They felt tight and scratchy on my legs. I did really like the feet though, They held my toe pads in place really well.

Arielle2405/31/2014DON'T LAST LONG BUT GREAT FOR POINTE SHOES
The fabric of these tights is very thin, so it rips and wears through quickly. If you wear them a lot, you won't be able to get much more than a year of wear out of them before they are too filled with holes to wear. However, they look great, and are less smooth than a lot of other tights (although I don't find that they feel rough against my skin or anything). This makes them excellent for holding things in place. If your toepads always slide around inside your shoes, you should definitely wear these tights. Your toepads may still move a little, but they'll stay in place much better than with other tights. I wear the Feather Lites gel pads by Eurotard, which are super comfortable and support my feet better than any other toepads, but they always slide around, so I have to wear these tights or else suffer great pain. For me, the pain that I avoid is worth the price of having to replace these tights frequently.

Tutujules05/23/2014BEAUTIFUL ON, BUT THEY RIPPED IN THE FIRST HALF HOUR
These tights looked great on and they were extremely comfortable. However, I bought them to wear for a show and within the first half hour they ripped after simply rehearsing some choreography. I used to buy these tights all the time and they last, but perhaps the fabric is different now. Very disappointing.

DanaN05/09/2014VERY FLATTERING, GREAT FOR PERFORMANCES
I wear these tights for class every day and performances. They are very sheer, so they make your legs look long and show the definition of the muscles very well. The color is a washed out peach/pink (pointe pink) and they match well with many brands of ballet slippers & pointe shoes.
They are very fragile and can rip easily. You have to take care when putting them on and not just yank them up. Gather them up from the toes and roll them up. The tip of the toe has a verticle seam instead of a horizontal one and so they are very comfortable to wear with pointe shoes. The waistband runs very small. I am Five ft. 1 inch, and 110 lbs, I order a size Large (and even then I have to cut little notches in the waist band so that it fits comfortably). I wash them in a net bag on delicate cycle, and hang to dry. If you care for them, they will last. They are not as soft as some of the other tights I have tried, but they look fabulous on stage. Nothing comes close to how flattering they are for dancer's legs. They are expensive, but worth it. If you are on a budget, use them for performances. I have all my students use them for performances.

MissGrenko03/18/2014GREAT FOR AUDITIONS OR PERFORMANCES!
Before purchasing these tights, I did read the negative reviews. However, I have been a Capezio customer for years, and they always turn out high-quality products! I had a summer intensive audition coming up, and I decided to risk it and order them anyway.
First, let me say that they are very, very thin tights, as thin as nylons, but the back seam is pronounced enough that you can see it well from a distance. The waistband is the same one on all of Capezio's tights, and is comfortable. The size chart is very accurate---don't second guess it! These tights are very flattering, making my giant thighs look somewhat slim :)
I ordered one of each color. The "Pointe Pink" color is a more peachy color, not as bright like the one in the photo. It's very pretty. "Theatrical Pink" is the classic whitish-pink.
I would definitely recommend trying these out. It's worth a shot!

Liz1617liz11/24/2013DON'T BUY!
These tights ripped the first time I tried them on, so I sewed up the hole. They continued to rip the second time and the third time that I wore them. I weigh 110 lbs and I ordered a medium size, so there was no reason for the tights to tear.

JoyBeth01/27/2013LOOKS GOOD, BUT DOESN'T LAST.
I am a larger dancer (mostly from being very tall), therefore it is difficult to find tights my size, and these were some of the few on this website that could actually fit, and they do fit well. Unfortunately, they are not very durable. I've had them for only about three or four months and there are little holes all over the legs, as they snag very easily on things like fingernails that aren't even long.
I would recommend these for performing, but do not wear them as every day tights.

nycballerina12/26/2012GOOD AND BAD
I think these tights are great, but it definitely has its downs. First off, they look great and make your legs looks really nice. They also fit really perfectly. They're a bit tight, but not too tight. A bad thing about these tights is that they are a bit itchy. I believe they rip very easily. I have a few pairs of these tights, and almost all of them have ripped. I don't buy these tights anymore, but they are really nice for maybe one show or performance. I would recommend them to other dancers, but they should be advised of the uncomfortable fabric, and that these tights may rip easily. They do look great on you, so I still wear the ones I have.

Savannahdancer11/09/2012DO NOT BUY THESE TIGHTS
While the color is lovely mine ripped on the second wearing while putting them on. Very poor quality and a complete waste of money. I am quite surprised as Capezio usually puts out quality products.

dancerx205/16/2012PERFECT TIGHTS!
These tights are perfect! I love that Capezio has come out with a lighter colored, thinner version of professional mesh tights. These tights show off the muscles beautifully and are very comfortable. I am a fan of the pointe pink color. IMPORTANT: DO NOT PUT THESE IN THE DRYER. We have found them to be very durable, but notice that if you throw them in the dryer it weakens the fabric. These are the only tights we wear now.

catdancer04/19/2012LOOKS AMAZING...BUT DOESN'T LAST
I got these tights and they make your legs look amazing....very slim and really show off the muscle definition. However, they do rip really easily. I would recommend them for auditions and performances when you want your legs to look amazing but would not recommend them for everyday.

I have three pairs of these tights. I LOVE the way they look when I wear them - the sheer mesh is flattering and makes my legs look super long and slim. They are comfortable and don't restrict my movement at all, which is a problem for me with some types of mesh types.
HOWEVER, all three pairs of these tights have huge rips/runs in them after only a few wearings. All three have severe runs coming up from the hole in the foot; one pair got a large (1/2") hole from a tiny snag on my fingernail, and another pair ripped at the heel when I pulled the back of my pointe shoe down to put rosin on my heel. No way am I buying these again - can't afford to replace them every month!

These tights are so beautiful. They are sheer and show your leg muscles. A lot of reviews on here say they are 'dingy' or rip easily. The color is perfect (I prefer pointe pink) and they are not the washed-out pale ballet pink of other tights. Yes, you have to be careful when you pull them up over your thigh, but Capezio is notorious for not realizing ballet dancers have hips. I ripped my first pair, but now I know not to yank them up in a hurry like the other cheaper non-seamed tights that have lycra and are super stretchy. Do not buy into the negative comments! :)
I also suggest ordering a size up from what you would normally order. I always order medium tights, and these I order an L or XL.

These tights are awful! The tights I got were WAY too small and itchy and as soon as I put them on after 5 mins they cut off my circulation to my legs!!!!!!!! I don't recommend these tights at all.

HORRIBLE!!!!! Experienced, advanced dancer received tights as a gift and cried for hours when they tore as she pulled up her leotard over the tights. She is 5'4" weighing 105 and the tights were a medium - no reason this should have happened.

extremly poor quality - don't buy them.....put them on and just pulling them up my finger went through the tights and put a huge hole in the leg. i wear small leotards, but buy larger tights for the length and these ran short and small. i so wish danskin would bring back their seamed tights - those lasted and were great quality

My dance school got these tights for our performance and every single pair ripped. They were thin and attracted lint instantly. They look dingy right after we took the out of the package. Terrible. Don't buy. Save your money.
