New and improved!

A flattened crown compliments the natural shape of the foot while the satin binding creates a seamless transition from shoe to tight that enhances the leg line and the shorter sole is less visible en pointe. New pleating has "quiet toe" construction and the feathered toe box allows the dancer to relev with ease. A graduated shank and sole, soft cotton lining and a pre-molded shank offer greater comfort. Other features include a slightly tapered toe box, medium vamp, low sides, round shaped throat, a wide and high platform, So Suede lining, elastic drawstring, and a #5 leather outer board shank 3/4 skived to zero. For ribbons we suggest Capezio 7/8" wide ribbon.

Ribbons not included.

Features:

  • Wide Tapered Box
  • Short/Average Vamp
  • Medium Profile
  • Narrow Heel
  • Hard Shank Strength
  • Harder Box Strength
  • Egyptian Foot Shape
  • Satin binding with elastic drawstring

    BEST SHOE SO FAR

I have strong, wide feet and have had trouble finding shoes that flatter the shape of my foot while actually being able to dance in them. I used to have Capezio glisse pros and they were comfortable but the box was so wide that my feet looked looked clumsy. I ordered 8.5 wide (which is also my street shoe size) in these. The tapered shape of the box is very flattering and now my feet have more of a traditional ballet slender look! I had one pair in normal shank but they died so fast that I switched to hard shank, which has lasted me a little bit longer. So basically, these are the favorite pointe shoes that I have had so far, but who knows what I'll find in the future? :)

    PRETTY AND COMFORTABLE

My feet are extremely strong and narrow. My street shoe size is a 9 and in these shoes I wear a 9. I usually go through these shoes once a month and I dance 6 times a week. During performance time I alternate between two and they last for a month as well. Pointe will never be comfortable no matter how much padding you use so these shoes are pretty comfortable. Dont use these shoes if you have small feet! With the shorter shank it makes it harder to work with them if you dont have strong feet. But i love these shoes!! You should definitely buy them!

    How long is the vamp?

I have quite long toes and I would like to know how long the vamp is in cm/inches.

This would depend on the size of the shoe. However, in the features section of the product page, you will find that this shoe has a generally short/average vamp. For additional sizing details, please contact our customer service department.

Do these have elastic binding or satin binding?

I tried on Tiffanys in a store, with elastic binding, and I would like to buy more of the same. I see here that the DDS product description says satin binding, but the Capezio representative in the store emphasized that the new Tiffanys have elastic binding. I'm hoping the DDS product description is incorrect?

The stock we carry in the Tiffany pointe shoe has the satin binding with the elastic drawstring.

Is the new Capezio Tiffany Pointe Shoe's shank stronger than before?

Capezio did not change the strength of the shank. They upgraded and modified the pleating, the quietness of the box, and the feathered box allows for easier releve'.

Are these like the regular Tiffanys?

I've had the regular Tiffanys, but they were too soft. I was just wondering if these had the same shape, because I really loved the shape of the regular Tiffanys on my foot.

The only difference is the shank strength
