Bought these for my (12 year old) daughter for Christmas. Ordered a half size up and they are fine. Note that they do not come with ribbons, so be prepared. We were not. Also, be sure to read the first fit instructions. If they don't fit and you mark them, the company will not take them back. My daughter is very happy with these, and they will be very good practice for pointe next fall. I don't have experience with this type of shoe but, from a layperson's perspective, they seem only somewhat durable. But maybe they are all made this way; I don't know.
The shoes run a bit small, but I managed to snag a second pair a half size up and those fit perfectly! I'm a street shoes size 6 and the 6.5 shoe fits wonderfully. Very comfortable. The shoes just came in, so I've yet to learn about their durability, however, I'm mostly pleased.
Shoes just came in so it is impossible to know their durability and comfort. I lucked out and guessed on the correct size. There was not a sizing chart to go by on the website. **My daughter wears a size 4 youth shoe (12 yrs. old) and I bought her a size 7.5. It fits great! **This shoe is for a tapered foot. Good luck. Hopefully, there will be a Capezio Shoe sizing chart available soon for everyone!
