I have danced in Prima-Soft tights since they became available. They hold up incredibly well, wash well, and I just haven't found anything that I like better. Bloch's do come close, but the Prima-Soft really wins out. What else can I say? As dancers we spend most of our lives in dance clothes and quality for class or performance, is a necessity. And I have been a customer of Discount Dance for many many years - I have bought everything from warm up woollies, and wrap sweaters to leotards, ballet shoes and pointe shoes from them (as well as tights of course) - I have NEVER been disappointed. I have absolute trust in Discount Dance.

LisaLisa12/15/2014NOT CONVERTIBLE
Prima soft has invented a new definition for convertible, but this is not it. That word is supposed to mean that the tight will cover the whole foot. This is much more like a capri pant with a pocket for the heel. It does NOT cover the whole foot. Great tights, bad description. I will use them for class, but needed them for a performance, and thus they were useless in that regard.

balletgirl1401/29/2014THE BEST
Everyone at my studio uses these. I have 8 pairs or these and 2 of the non-seamed kind for performances and pictures! They are so soft, I can pull them up right where I like them (at my waist), and they last for so long. They fade to an almost whitish pink color after about 8 months, but are still opaque enough to wear and not too badly off color. I've had some of these tights for almost 2 years and they are in near-perfect condition! Definitely worth the money, and I'm never going back to another kind.

I ordered this about 2 weeks ago and I have loved it so far. I have a bit of a weight problem and I found them comfortable and easy to move in. I would definitely recommmend them.

KajsaKK10/17/2012DISGUSTING COLOR
These tights are super duper comfy, however they will get snagged easily and when they tear it gets pretty ugly. I ordered these in the European pink and when I looked at them I thought that they must have messed up the order because the color is a disgusting yellow/orange color, I feel so awkward when I wear these in class because all of the other girls have nice pink tights and I have the disgusting yellow ones. So unless you are required to have these, do not buy them.

SugarPlumDance07/01/2012BUY "BALLET PINK"
GROUP EVALUATION:
*Tights are of average durability when compared with Bloch, Gaynor Danskin styles that were non-mesh.
*Very comfortable material - SOFT!!! :)
*These are not an average convertible tight I DID NOT care for the style in that area. I don't find this comfortable. However, you will have great access to your feet.
* Mock Seam sticks out quite a bit when one wears them. I don't quite like that, but I do like that the seam is soft you DO see it (good for stage) Also, for taller ladies it might stretch longer be more subtle.
*COLOR- I would not suggest buying the "Euro Pink". The "Ballet Pink" look like European pink the Euro Pink are a bit too yellow for my taste.
* I know these fit ladies in the 5 ft 5 to 5 ft 6 1/2 range those ladies were 108-118 pounds

These are the strangest tights I have ever seen. The seam on the back protrudes as if the tights are wrong side out (Yet, they are not.) The tights have a toe pouch which pulls the open tubular end of the tights underneath the foot, leaving a wad of fabric at the ball of the foot for the dancer to stand on. The Euro pink is pale salmon and really unnatural looking.

I ordered these in a hurry over Thanksgiving break when the dance store was closed. I was very nervous as these came in the mail two days before performance day. I usually wear the largest size tight in any brand so I was very wary of the one size fits all. I am 6'10" and these are the best tights I've ever worn! They haven't ripped at all.

Clover02/03/2010CONVERTIBLE TIGHTS???
Convertible tights traditionally mean that they're footed with a hole in the bottom but these tights are cut off at the middle of the foot. My friend's Primasoft tights were the ones I liked and was looking forward to getting....and the European Pink is quite yellowy too....disappointing....

Anonymous11/12/2007WOW!
I own a pair of these, and they are really comfortable. They have a semi-wide waistband and a thick seam and I always wear them for shows!

These tights are pretty comfortable. The hole at the bottom does have some extra fabric, but I find that I forget about it after a few minutes. My main problem is that the color fades fairly quickly to a beige sort of shade that is not very flattering. They're quite good at first, though.

Dance Mom04/23/2006 Houston Tx,SEAMS PULL OUT
Daughter loves the soft texture, but the back seam is easily broken. All have been carefully repaired along the back seam to try to extend the wear.(She has 3 pairs and all do this). Disappointing. Does not stand up in daily class wear.
