Fit nice, wear well

My daughter's arch looks beautiful when she points in these, although up close, I can see how the leather bunches a bit. We've never tried anything with a neoprene arch, though, so I can't compare. But she loves these. She has a VERY wide toe box, and we ordered these a half size up. The first couple times she wore them, they were tough to put on, but they stretched beautifully, and 9 months later, they still fit. (Impressive for a 7-year old.) They're wearing a bit in a few places, but still look pretty darn good.

I bought these shoes about a month ago. And I absolutely love them. They are SO comfortable. I never wanna take em off. Only problem is the bottom wrinkles up when you point your toe. Other than that they are amazing. I recommend these for anybody! :)

The shoes are comfortable but they don't show your arch very well. I bought two pairs (tan, black) the color is very nice. The only bad thing is that the leather bunches up on the bottom but they are pretty good shoes.

When I first got these it was hard to put them on. They were stiff in the heel and the elastic bunched up before I fixed it. Once I put them on though they were so comfortable I didn't want to take them off. The first time you wear them they might feel a little uncomfortable, but after the first day it is wonderful. About the sizing, I am usually a 7 1/2 so I got one size bigger, an 8 1/2 for growing room. They were just a little big for growing room, and it was wonderful. If you want it just perfect get a 1/2 bigger. The look is great and they are easy to dance in.

I've had these for close to 3 years and they're still going strong! They do smell pretty awful, even when I wear socks. But, other than that, they're perfect!

It's a great jazz shoe, but I should've got it a half a size smaller, since I thought you have to get a half a size bigger for jazz.

I have wide big feet (Sz 10) with low arches and this shoe makes me look like a pointe shoe model! My feet actually look small in them! This shoe hugs my arch beautifully and the price can't be beat!

These shoes are great! I got one pair for jazz and needed an extra pair for lyrical so I got two pairs and they are great! They are very comfortable and can show your arch very well. I would highly recommend them.

This shoe is very nice. I got them to audition in. The auditions lasted 3 days. They were wonderful for turns. After the auditions were over the toe of the shoe was almost completely worn down!

This product is So flexible my daughter never wants to take them off, they are so comfortable! If I was still in dance I would buy the same pair! Plus they weren't very expensive! I love shopping at this website!

These shoes were really uncomfortable. Around my arch they were pinching and the area surrounding my toes, the fabric was loose. I wouldn't recommend them.

These are great shoes! All of our dance teams use them for competition. They made their feet look very pretty and elegant. But they do rip if they are too small.

The best, by far jazz shoe. Get them for your street size, they stretch out with wear. I got the child version of this shoe as my first jazz shoe, and they lasted until they were so tiny, I couldn't fit in them anymore (and my feet grow slow). Then I got them in the Adult version, and I still love them. I got them too big, as a 4.5, and they have just recently become too small, and gotten worn, and now I wear a 6. Amazing Shoe!

I bought these shoes two years ago for a six week summer intensive. In the program we have jazz every other day and both repertoires that was in over the six weeks was the jazz so I was using them everyday. I used them this past year for the same intensive and they are still great. They barely have any wear on them and they are slippery enough for turning. They are the ideal jazz shoe.

I typically wear a size 6 - rarely a 6 1/2 in street shoes, and I ordered a 6.5 (by the size chart), but they were too small in length, so I had to send them back (pay $9 in shipping)and re-order a size 7.

These shoes look very good on my feet. I normally have really good arches, and these just make them look even better! I know everyone buys them 1-2 sizes bigger, but I wear a size 6-6.5 and I bought a 6. I like my shoes to be really snug on my feet. At first they looked really little but after a few days of wearing them around my house they stretch, and now just fit perfectly!

These shoes were recommended by my studio but since the bottom is leather...they are very hard to pointe in. My feet have a bad arch and this shoe didn't help that.

Yes. I think that these shoes are good shoes. I personally like the tan ones better. But that is just my opinion. They fit pretty well, and they are comfortable. But now I prefer to wear ballet shoes for jazz. (I know it's weird, but I like it better!)But I need these for my performances, and they are a good shoe!

Nice shoe - should buy half size larger

I purchased this shoe for a beginning jazz dancer, 11 yrs old who wears size 6. After reading other reviews to buy half size bigger, I bought size 6.5 and it fits her well with half a cm to grow into. I would say for an adult, buy street size, a child who is growing, get half size larger. I have danced for 10 yrs myself, and think this is a great shoe for flat footed or medium arch dancers, but may restrain someone with super high arch.

Wear Easily

These are very comfortable, but somewhat loose. They don't form to your foot very well. They wear very easily. I do Musical Theatre, and after the closing of one show (9 week run), I couldn't wear them because my turns had worn two HUGE holes on both shoes, so, it wore through 3 pairs of tights. But, that could just be me... Other than that, great for turns!

My dance team wears these shoes and they last for a long time. We have 2 1/2 - 3 hour practices, 5 days a week. My practice pair lasted through the whole season in still good condition.

I got them in the recommended street shoe size, and they were a tiny bit snug, but if I went a half-size bigger, they'd be too big. I have worn them for one dance class and by the end of the 1 1/2 hour class, my arch was aching and I had a blister on the bottom of my big toe. They are very slippery on hardwood, and my feet were burning up, very hot. Sure they look nice when you look at them, but they just didn't work out for me.

Good for comfort but these shoes do not form to your foot very well. The elastic on the top of the foot makes it look like you are not pointing and flattens out your instep.

If you have narrow heels......

don't buy these. I wear a size 6.5 in street shoes, and I often go about a half size down when I buy jazz shoes, for this reason. So, I bought a size 6, and the heel still feels loose. Plus, when I point, all I can feel is extra bulky leather. Not a good buy for narrow heels.

Very disappointed with the shoe sizing

My daughter wears a street shoe size 4 1/2. So I ordered her a size 5 in this shoe and they are too small! Her toes are stretching the end of the shoe. I am very disappointed since I checked very carefully what size is recommended. She would really need a size 6, minimum and she does not have wide or hard to fit feet.

I dance three days a week. Each class is an hour to an hour and a half long. Even at the end of nine months they still look great. I would really recommend this product.

I think these are the best Jazz shoes I have ever owned! They are great to turn on and they lat a while. I suggest you get them if you dance in jazz :)

I bought these at a dance store in Boston and therefore paid a little more than I would've here, but I LOVE these shoes! I needed them right away and couldn't wait for the shipping time, and I think they were even worth the extra money. I used to have the Capezio shoes with the canvas on the sides and I HATED them, but these fixed everything I hated about those! They are really soft and have GREAT support. I have a high arch, so the lace-up shoes I had before would start to hurt when I pointed, but these feel great. Like some other people have said, they are also great for turning (again, unlike the Capezios I had before). I can't wait until they're fully broken in, and I would definitely buy these again.

After getting the Bloch flow jazz shoes, I had to get these. I got them in tan. The leather is so thin and molds to your foot, so whenever you point, it doesn't bunch up. Unlike Capezio, the leather is not thick and whenever you turn, the bottom doesn't stick to the floor. These shoes are great for turning, leaping or dancing. I love Bloch and only buy Bloch because they're way better than Capezio. These are AMAZING!

All of my dancers are required to purchase this shoe. It molds to their feet well and lasts for a long time. I own a pair and have worn them 4 days a week for 8 months and they are still going strong! It's a great shoe.

Way better than Capezio

These are amazingly comfortable and last a pretty long time. I hated how Capezio shoes had elastic on the side and bunched up every time you pointed your foot. I bought these and they broke in quickly and were really sturdy, without being restricted. If you were to buy a jazz shoe, buy this one!

I LOVE these shoes. They are so easy to break in, though they do get holes in them. Coming from an experienced dancer, these are one of the most comfortable jazz shoes that I have ever worn. I definitely recommend them for any dancer, from beginner to advanced.

Much better then Capezios

I only got this shoe because I lost my Capezio jazz shoes. I was hesitant to try elastic on the top as opposed to off on the sides, but I absolutely love it! These shoes are extremely comfortable, easy to throw on, and true to the fitting chart.

Almost like dancing barefoot

These are so light and airy that they feel like being barefoot. I like the arch support, and the overall feel is comfortably snug. I got a half size larger than usual and they can only be worn with very light socks or stockings. I got them for some of the international dancing I do, where I need to be able to pivot smoothly. I noticed there isn't much cushion in these and the piece under the toe bed seems a little "off" in placement. We'll see how they dance...

Nice Shoes

They are comfortable and pretty nice shoes. The only complaint is that the shoe makes it a little hard to arch your foot, but good for first time shoes. These are my first jazz shoes. I dance in them once a week for an hour and I've had them for 3 months. They look brand new.

They're nice but don't hug ur foot much. They make ur arch seem smaller then it really is. The elastic on top is nice so that if your foot grows, they don't tear. But other than that, they're ok... they don't really stand out.

These are great jazz shoes! They are comfortable during class. I wear like a 7.5 to an 8, so I got a size 8. They are a teeny bit big in the toe. If you are like me and you have an in-between size foot, then you might want to get the smaller size. Or you can get the size that you wear most often. These are great shoes!

We used these for competition shoes and they were great! My daughter has a box foot and has difficulty getting other types of jazz shoes on. With the elastic on the top she has no problems! Love these!

I love these shoes. I've used them for a year- asked by our teacher, and they're great. I own two pairs; one in black and one in tan. The only problem I had with them was the toe wearing out kind of fast from doing turns. Otherwise they were fine. They make your arch look really good compared to other shoes I've worn. And I love the "v" elastic, it makes it easier for me to put them on.

I have this shoe, and it is very comfortable. My only problem with it is that the traction on the bottom wore, and the toe did too. The toe gets very dirty and then start to wear. Overall, I have worn better shoes.

These are the most comfortable jazz shoes in the world!! These were my first pair of slip-ons. Usually I wear lace-up but never again!! They are a great color tan and make your feet look really good! The fitting is correct. These were great for me and I have really wide feet. I would highly recommend them!!

I really like these shoes because they are a great colored tan and create a nice line on your foot. Great for Dance Teams too! They are also affordable! But they don't last very long. But with that kind of price They are so worth it!

Will wear nothing but this shoe!

As a dancer, I love these shoes more than any other jazz shoe. (And trust me, I've pretty much have used them all...) They are great to turn in and don't restrict your foot from pointing. When you slide down on the floor, there is no elastic stretching your shoe in half like many of the other styles. The full leather body is really great.
As a dance teacher, I love these shoes for my students because they create such a clean line. The tan matches the Bloch tights EXACTLY. The black looks really classy too. I've recommended this shoe to many other students, parents, teachers, and studios over the years. A great choice!

They are the same size as your street shoes, so they don't lie about the size! I love them so much! All I own is BLOCH and they are cheap and cute! I dance 7 days a week so I have like over 50 shoes and I'm not poor but I do like to save money! I've been dancing since I was 3 and I've never worn any other Jazz shoe!!!!!!!

I LOVE THESE! They look great on stage and they are lightweight. Also, the tan colored ones are a good color tan(unlike the Capezio ones which almost look goldish). I would really recommend these. I LOVE THEM I own like 3 pairs! GREAT FOR TURNING!

I use this shoe for my recreational and competitive dancers. Not only does it create a nice line, but it isn't bulky and it is very affordable. As a studio owner, I highly suggest this shoe.
