Got these today...
Rating: 4
These shoes break in super easy! I bent them with my hands and within an instant they felt right. The demi pointe is ridiculously hard to roll through, and I don’t like the way that the box doesn't curve with the foot, it looks like the foot is sticking out. For having wide feet, I am surprised that a 6 C fits me! When I go up on them, I am barely on the platform. I will see how they break down...

Good Beginner's Shoe
Rating: 4
Great pointe shoes, but not for beginners with weak arches and feet. I found the shank to be very very hard. The breaking in process was difficult. Also, if you have short toes, bunions or unnoticeable instep then this shoe may not work for you either. The vamp is high. Otherwise, this shoe looks really good.

I just got a pair of these about a week ago and I LOVE them. They are the best pair of pointe shoes I've had. It is so much easier to get all the way on pointe 'cause of how hard they are. They are just awesome.

Short toes high arch
Rating: 5
I have this one, and every one in my class. But I have short toes and a really high arch so the long vamp hurts a lot and the wings also. I wouldn't recommend this one on a person that has short toes.

BLOCH Aspiration shoes are amazing! I love them. In my opinion, I think that when people say, "Bloch Aspiration pointe shoes are for beginners, and if you're not a beginner you should switch" is baloney! Judge your own feet and how they feel. I am an advanced ballet/pointe dancer and I highly recommend them.

Impressed....
Rating: 4
I was pretty impressed with these pointe shoes, even though I only had one disappointment with them. These are my first pairs of Blochs, I've been using Sanshas, but decided to go with something different. The shoes broke in really good and are more comfortable than previous shoes I've been using. I think the only downer about them are that they don't last very long. I've had these for about 4 months and they're already soft. But I'll deff. order another pair! :)

I'm the mother of 2 daughters who began pointe classes a year and two months ago. These pointe shoes are so good. My daughters are able to dance well in them, for in the beginning it was hard. But now into their second pair of these beautiful shoes, they are highly recommended and my daughters look beautiful when they dance and perform in their pointe shoes. All my friends ask about their shoes for their daughters, when their time comes. So I appreciate what this shoe does to give the support in the box and help them from harming their ankles.

One of a kind

When I started pointe I started with the Aspiration. The aspiration is the only shoe that I use now. It fits to my arches and my foot perfectly. I am not sure if its this shoe only but my foot has pointed and has higher arches now a lot better than before! I would recommend this shoe hugely!

I got it as my first pointe shoe. The only pointe shoe I have gone back to purchase again! It helps with my high arches and to stay on the box.

I love them! They are my first pointe shoes and don't take too long to break in. At first the heel slipped off though but besides that, they are great and pretty! I would definitely recommend them.

These were my first pointe shoes and they work great. They hold up strong and I didn't feel like I was going to snap them. They have a wide platform which is great for beginners. I really recommend these shoes!

Amazing shoes!

These are my 2nd pointe shoes, and I've been on pointe for about 4.5 months. My Grishkos were dead in 3 months, so I tried these, and they break in so well! These flatter my arch, and are really sturdy! Great buy!

I just ordered my fourth pair of these. They last a very long time. That is good for me since I am on a tight budget. They flatter my arch and are affordable. These are a great shoe.

The quality is ok, and they break-in well. Otherwise, I didn't like them very much. After they were broken in, they started squeaking... but overall they are ok. They're good for all dancers :)

These shoes were my first pair of pointe shoes, and at that time I didn't have very strong feet. I had an arch but couldn't use it. I tried about 18 different types of other pointe shoes, then finally came back to these after about five years. Wow, what a difference that five years made! My feet look so much nicer now that they are much stronger and arch-ier.I have kind of wide feet with toes that are all pretty much the same length. I always kill my shoes in the box, and the last pair of shoes I had( capezio glisses) died within a week. These last much longer, about 3 or 4 weeks, which for me, is good cause I've always killed shoes really fast. The only reason I won't give these a 5-star is because they aren't really that great for beginners, like it advertises. If you have strong, at least somewhat archy feet, I completely recommend these.

Not great first pointes
Rating: 2
These are my first pointe shoes and I've been using them for about 6 months now. I tried on a bunch of different styles, and these ones fit best, but after wearing them for 6 months, I don't like them at all. I don't have a great arch to begin with, but it's much better in jazz, ballet, and tap shoes than in these pointes, which make it seem like I have no arch at all. I thought the problem was breaking them in, but they should be completely broken in by now. My friend got her Capezios a little after I got these, and hers look much better on her feet (though her arch is much better than mine anyway). I can barely feel the floor so I never know when I'm over my box. I guess they were okay for starting pointe, but I'm definitely getting something else next time. Also, I have a slightly narrow foot, and I don't like the string because the shoes bag around the sides. My friend's shoes have an elastic string, so the sides of the shoe hug her foot.

This is a very nice shoe! It takes a while to break them in, but after you do they are absolutely perfect! So far they have been my favorite shoe I've ever worn, but I'm about to try Bloch Alphas. They definitely deserve 5 stars!

These shoes are great for beginners. I got these last year when I started pointe and they were the best to start off with, they flex great. I highly recommend these for new students but not for more advanced. I now have Grishko's and they're great but I do miss my Bloch's ;(

First thing I have to say is: wow! I mean, these shoes are very good. I have been en pointe for like a year and I have used these shoes for half a year. My old pointe shoes gets worn out very easily. These seem to be lasting forever, because I have ballet class five times a week and two hours en pointe for each class! Tip: It is a great match with Bloch's Elastorib. Try them and you'll love it!

This is my first year on pointe and luckily these were my first shoes! I absolutely love how they shape my already high arch. They broke-in extremely easy and they were so easy to learn beginning stuff. I recommend these for everyone starting out.

These shoes are pretty good
Rating: 4
I have had this shoe for about 4 months now and I like pretty much everything about them. They are very supportive and help you have great balance. I have VERY strong feet and high arch and they work very well for me. The only thing that I would change is that they were very hard to break-in. They took me about 3 weeks to somewhat break them in. Overall, would be much better for beginners!!!

These are my first pair of pointe shoes and in the store I liked them. After wearing them for a few weeks, I still had trouble getting completely on the box and they were very hard to break in. Not good for high arches, but good first shoe

I have a pair of Aspirations and they are pretty flattering, but they do make a ruckus on the dance floor. They are very noisy but that's not exactly the "pointe". They are extremely flattering on my low arches and they last long!

Not a good first impression...
Rating: 2
I tried these on at the dance store, and as soon as I put these shoes on, I knew that this particular style wouldn't be good for me. It felt extremely uncomfortable just standing flat. I can't even imagine trying to dance in them. BUT I wouldn't say that they are bad for everyone, or that Bloch is a bad brand. I've been wearing Sonatas for months now, and I like them just fine.

WOW!
Rating: 5
I had been wearing Sonatas for about a year--big mistake! I have pretty wide feet and my arch is basically non-existent, so I had a LOT of trouble getting up on the box and feeling comfortable in my pointe shoes. FINALLY, all my problems are gone! Aspirations are amazing--I will stick with these for a while. The color is pretty, although I do admit my feet do look kind of like...well, blocks. I wasn't expecting much though since my feet are wide anyway. Very happy overall.

Good shoe for just about anyone. I work in a dance store and we fit pointe shoes and I always fit them with Aspirations first. They're reliable, sturdy, they last long and an all around good shoe.

I LOVE THESE SHOES! They look really nice on my feet! I have high arches and narrow feet, so it is hard for me to find a well-fitted pointe shoe, but these shoes fit great! The price is also low and affordable. I'm an advanced student and the shoes are not just for beginners. They are a simple shoe, but last a long time, too.

Great shoes!
Rating: 4
These shoes are great! The box is hard and it helps me not roll off to the side (which is the problem I have with my left foot). I am still breaking these shoes in, and they HURT! I used to own a pair of "Plie II" pointe shoes by capezio, and they broke in easily because the box is not hard and supportive like my aspirations. But I know that in time, I will perfectly adjust to them.

These are awesome pointe shoes. They help me stay up on my box since I have only been doing pointe for three months. The only thing I don't like is they feel almost brand new! They are kind of hard to break-in.

I own these shoes and I have been dancing on pointe for a long time. These shoes are not just for beginners, they are great for everyone!!! They are really hard at first, so you have to have a strong foot. But once you break them in they are great. They mold to my feet very nicely and last me a while. Very good shoes.

Perfect for beginners!
Rating: 5
Great beginner pointe shoe! They don't take too long to break-in and form to your feet. The box is a little harder, so you may want a little extra lamb's wool or thicker toe pads, since it's probably a beginner wearing them. Very supportive and stable.

My Fave Pointe Shoes
Rating: 3
I have been dancing on pointe for about three years and have went through almost every brand of shoe including Capezio, Grishko, and Sansha, but I wore through these shoes way too fast. Bloch Aspirations provide a strong shoe that is still comfortable and not impossible to break in. My only problem with these shoes has been me not being able to get over my box, but that may have come from my lack of experience or the early not-broken-in stage of this shoe. With the Bloch Aspirations, dancing en pointe feels as easy and stable as dancing in my flat shoes.

These were my first pointe shoes and they were awesome!I'm going on my second year of pointe and I'm buying these shoes again. They are great for both intermediate and beginners. They lasted me a whole year and they are cheap! It was hard to get all the way on top of my box at first, but when they broke in, it was a lot easier.

I have this for my first pair of pointe shoes and I love them. They are perfect

Great shoe for girls beginning point!
Rating: 5
I am a former professional ballerina and have been frustrated that my daughter who just got on pointe can't get over her shoes. She has strong feet that aren't very flexible. These shoes have been wonderful. She now gets over her shoes and no longer dreads pointe class. They are a bit hard in the box so you might need to add extra lambs wool or put corn cushions where they rub. What a great shoe for beginning pointe!

These were my second pair of pointe shoes, and so I wasn't too strong. Well, they made my feet look abnormally large and they had a small box that my thin pads could barely fit in. I would not recommend these shoes.

Whenever I go to buy pointes, I always buy a pair of these as a back-up for the year, in case I leave my other shoes at home or in case my shoes die during class and I need a quick change that doesn't need breaking in. What I usually do though, is break the shank in half and rip out the back half, which is easy to do because they are so soft. Then, all I need is ribbons and I have really good emergency shoes. Only problem I found, is that once these get a good use, they tend to "melt" and they really settle in the demi-pointe area, so it's difficult to articulate the arches in my feet and roll up into pointe. But over-all I really do love Bloch pointes. They are really well constructed and I find them all comfortable. My favorites are the Serene ultra v vamp model, and the Sonatas.

Perfect for beginners
Rating: 5
When I first started Pointe, I wish I had known about these shoes. I got these my second year and they were very easy to break in. It doesn't take months for them to mold to your foot and the demi pointe is very easy to find. The only thing that was a problem for me, is that the shank broke after forty-five minutes of class. These shoes are clearly for beginners, but are also perfect for people with not much of an arch or weaker feet.
