Pretty good shoe

This shoe is pretty decent. My high school dance team switched to this shoe from the Bloch super jazz shoe. Personally I prefer the super jazz shoe. It allows the foot to breathe more and is a little bit more durable. This dance now jazz shoe, however, is cheaper and performs similarly to the super jazz shoe. It lasted me around five months of dancing for approx. eight hours a week before getting a hole at the tip of the shoe.

Great booties. Looks ( color too) just like the Bloch but less expensive, a little stiffer but breaks in really easily.

I have had one pair of these shoes for over three years: they are amazing. I started using them for jazz and when there's a bad floor for ballet; and after three years I'm still using them for a ballroom theatre arts piece. They are wonderful!
They have scuffed up a wee bit from rolling over my arch, and the traction on the bottom has smoothed over from being used intensely on a finished hardwood floor for ballroom dancing. But hey, these have held up sooo well for sooo long, I really recommend them! My pair is black, I am a little worried about the shade of tan I'm going to get when I re-order them. Hopefully not gray or yellow or orange...Oh well!

These are amazing!

I love these shoes. I use them for everything from ballet to hip hop, and they work really well. I like how I don't have to bother with laces, too. I've had them for three years and they're only now starting to tear at the toes. Great shoes, very economical.

These shoes are great. I have abused them so much and they have held up well. They look like my cousin's competition ones from Revolution but sooo much cheaper. They are extremely comfortable but you def. need to break them in.

Shoe itself was OK. My daughter wears about a 2
in kids so we had to order adults. We ordered a 4 and it's 2 sizes too small. Unfortunately DD doesn't offer any info on sizes other than "same as street" and they don't offer any assistance with their inflated shipping costs for exchanges. The shipping costs will be more than twice as much as the item itself. Won't shop here again. Could have paid the higher price at a store and still spent less then here.

Only jazz shoe my son wants and they hold up very well! Sizing is weird - he wears a kids 4 1/2 shoe but an adult 7 in this. Great shoe for the money.

Shoes are great. Very comfortable and shape foot. The only suggestion is to order a size 1/2 up or 1. Like I wear a size 10 normally and I ordered a size 10.5 fit perfect! My feet are narrow so that was ok but if you have wide feet this isn't for you!

I bought these shoes because they look just like the shoes my company team uses and they are at least $20 cheaper. They don't last quite as long as some other shoes, but you can buy another pair and it would still not add up to the price of other shoes! Great shoes. I would recommend them to everyone!

I think these are the most amazing jazz shoes. They are comfortable and they shape my foot really well. I wouldn't ask for any better!!! Love them!

First of all, when my mom purchased these online, I anticipated they were going to be just like my older jazz shoes--Complete opposite.
I don't have a problem with excessive perspiration, and the workouts weren't nearly as rigorous as usual and my feet still got super sweaty in the white-waffle design.
My feet have some width to them, not much, and it is so hard to put on the shoe.
I recommend BLOCH Jazz Booty.
If you must purchase these, know the fit is odd. Super narrow width, Extra baggage my the toe. Not a good fit for a dancer who dances seriously.
I do not recommend these shoes, but if they must be purchased, wear them with something on your feet, like tights, to stop the uncomfortable sweating, which causes slipping.

This is a great buy for a great shoe! My studio uses a much more expensive shoe, but "Dance Now" makes a jazz shoe that looks exactly the same and is of outstanding quality. These shoes are great!

I bought these shoes and used them for colorgaurd. They lasted the whole 9-week season of marching in the rain, outside, and on gravel. If you used them for only indoor studio dancing, they would probably last longer. Very good shoes for the cheap price!

I just put on my pair that I received in the mail (fast shipping) and they feel way better than my Bloch lace ups. A little extra material on my toes, but that could have been a sizing error on my part, due to the male feet ordering a female shoe. I would recommend these shoes.

I have a pair, and they lasted sooooo long. I bought them in August/September of 2006. They lasted till December when they first started getting holes in them. They'd last longer if I didn't dance on concrete and asphalt. They broke in fast, fit so nicely, and the only complaint is that they wear out!

Disappointed in the sizing

I ordered this pair of shoes for my 10-year-old daughter and she wears a size 5. These were too small for her so I'm reordering them in a 6 1/2 to see if they'll fit much better. The size 5 were really tight and that is her street size.

I would like to say, that this shoe is really tapered at the toes, I have square, short-toed feet, and there is some excess material there. I suppose I could have been OK with a size 6, although my normal street shoe size is 6.5-7, although I like my dance shoes tight! I will update more after a couple weeks of 4 days a week 3+ hours at a time of use! So far, wearing them around the house, they seem like they are going to be great!

We have been buying these jazz boots for years. My daughter loves them. They are her favorite jazz shoe.
