Rating: 1 These are the worst tap shoes I have ever gotten. I got them in December and the first day I wore them, the taps came un screwed and you can't fix them because they aren't actually screws. Don't buy these shoes.
01/23/09 by Karen from Redding, CA Not satisfying
Rating: 2 O.k. for first pair of tap shoes. I started tapping in Sept. last year and am ready for a new pair of shoes already. I have not been happy with the sound and was very disappointed when I discovered the taps are riveted! There has been no problem with the taps coming off however.
11/19/08 by Lori from St. Mary's, OH Rating: 5 I am with grand Lake theatre and I had to get tap shoes for our play. It was the best thing I could of done. The shoes were here quicker then I ever thought. So now we are starting Tap classes and I am taking orders from our students to buy our shoes here! Great job keep up the good work!
08/20/08 by Anonymous Rating: 1 I don't like these shoes at all. The full-sole design next to the very uncomfortable upper material makes the shoe altogether very inflexible. I bought a pair of these because my dance studio was only allowing Capezio taps on their new floor. During our warm-ups I kept on having to bend down to tie them tighter. It also rubbed the sides of my feet and the taps don't make a good sound at all. My dance studio sells these at their annual supply sale and recommends them first only because of the cheap price. I believe their second would be the Capezio Xtremes. I ended up buying a pair of Bloch Tap-Flexes after these and just got Capezio taps put on them. Don't buy these unless you want a cheap-o pair of tap shoes! And if you do buy them, remember that they do run very small. (Size 10 street shoe, size 7 in these.)

Rating: 1 These were horrible. My brother got them for his first tap class, and they were far too big, and the taps came off within a month.
06/26/07 by Rachel from Indianapolis Male sizing incorrect
Rating: 3 I bought these in a 10.5 wide for my male friend, who wear street shoe sizes between 10 and 11. These were at least an inch too long and far too wide. The width may have been a mistake on my part, but the shoe size fitting was definitely incorrectly given on this website. Order at least 1 size DOWN for men.
06/01/07 by Pam from Yankton, SD AWFUL!!!
Rating: 1 As a costumer, I ordered 26 pairs for a production of Anything Goes. The taps started to fall off immediately. I took them to a shoe maker (yes, we have them in SD) and he said the holes are too large for the rivets. If you want to tap, buy a different shoe!!!
05/14/07 by Jason from Houston, TX Do not buy these shoes
Rating: 1 I bought these Capezios a couple of weeks ago, despite having read the other poor reviews. These were my first pair of tap shoes. I bought them because of price and size (My street shoe is 12 men's). One of the rivets came off during the first 30 minutes of my first tap lesson. These shoes are embarrassing and disappointing. However, I fell in love immediately with tap dancing, and that's a good thing, because if not, I might have given up with my surprising experience with these lovely shoes.
04/28/07 by Karen LIKE THESE!!!
Rating: 5 These are great shoes. I use these for the beginner teens at my studio, but I really wish they came in tan :-(
03/05/07 by Anonymous from California Rating: 2 I purchased these shoes because of sizing and price. They are inexpensive and come in wide sizes. That is the best thing about these shoes -- wide sizing. Other than that, I didn't like the shoes at all!
09/02/06 by Jon Thomas from Utah Rating: 2 I bought these shoes when I was in the production of 42nd Street in my community. These shoes do not come with nail holes, but are actually hammered in with one-time use stubs. If the stubs come off, then you are stuck. The taps are very thin. This shoe isn't my favorite, and I wouldn't easily recommend them to someone else.
