Nice fabric in the Adult Convertible Tights but it took me 15 minutes to get them on because they were very tight. Bought XXL and I'm 5'5", 175. My waist is 37" and the waistband is too snug.

I bought this convertible tight because some of the footless and stirrup tights are too tight around the calf or foot and I wanted to try something different. These tights are a great stretchy material and really hold everything in. I think they would complement any body type. I'm 5'1" and I feel like they may even help make my legs look longer and thinner. They are soft, yet stretchy which is perfect. The waistband does dig into my stomach a little, but I'm not a teenager anymore, so I'm probably not the average user of this pair of tights. The only issue I had was that my engagement ring put a snag in them when I first put them on, but it was in a concealable place and with a little nail polish, no one would ever know. I just wouldn't use them for modern or a class with a lot of floor work.

I ordered an X/XL in pink and black in these tights to try and get the waistband looser. I've come to find out that I love Capezio's ultra-soft tights! They are, well, ultra-soft :) And they're semi-opaque, which is nice. I have somewhat big thighs and big calf muscles and I don't get the annoying trait like on the other Capezio tights where the black tights are lighter on my thighs than on my shins and calves. They don't run easily, and if you follow the washing directions they don't fade. The convertible hole is sewn better to prevent running. The only problem with me is that when I roll them up for class, I can't roll them up very far without cutting off the circulation to my feet or ripping the convertible hole. But maybe that's just me. All in all, they're great tights for the price!

These tights are very nice. They are actually skin colored and do not look fake when you wear them. I love them because the whole in the bottom is big enough that you can actually get your foot and leg through it.

I ordered three pairs of these tights and they are wonderful! They are so soft and don't run easy. They are perfect for practice or a performance and fit really well. I'm 5'6" and 135 pounds and I ordered a L/XL and they fit really well! I'll definitely get more!

These tights are amazing! I have a pair in natural, and the color is great! They also make my legs look awesome! I would recommend them to any performer! I wear them with character shoes during musicals and rehearsals and I love them because they are also convertible.

These tights are great because I recently had a recital and they convert into over your feet and above your feet. That's good because I take jazz and acro and for acro we do not wear shoes.

I didn't realize how good these tights were until I wore other more cheaper tights. I have never gotten any blisters dancing in these tights because they really hug the skin everywhere and don't stretch out as you wear them. Also, they are pretty durable...no runs yet. They flatter the legs too!

I love these tights! They come in many different colors, too. I only wear Capezio's, and these are my favorite, because I have very sensitive skin, and other brands or fabrics seem to be very itchy, hot and uncomfortable. So, I give these tights a 5.

I bought these tights in March and it's now May and I have no runs or snags at all!!! I wear them at least twice a week. I bought the cocoa and they almost match my complexion perfectly (it's hard to find tights that match my skin closely as a black girl)!!!

I've been wearing these since I can remember. They are incredibly comfortable. They pinch at the waist enough to show through the leotard (but let's face it, I'm a little fleshy at the hips and waist), but it's not enough to be uncomfortable. I have never had a pair run, but the color fades after maybe 20 machine washings from the ballet pink. Totally worth it, since you don't have to wash them by hand!

I love these tights. I am finally on my second pair after three years. I just barely got a run in them but I love the feel and I wear them all the time. Remember to read the sizing chart before selecting a size.

These are the most comfortable tights that I have ever worn--Ever. I don't feel the need to just get them off me before I get some horrible irritation rash, I don't even feel them. And they are SO flattering. They somehow make your jiggly bits jiggle less. Love 'em. I have 6 pairs already, and have had them over a year, and only now have I gotten a run. I won't wear any other tights after these! Slimming and comfortable! Amazing. Just make sure that if you're right at the edge of two sizes to get the larger one.

These are really nice tights! They last a pretty long time and they are sooo soft! The foot holes do tend to stretch out a little after a lot of use. I just got another pair in the mail today and I love them! After awhile, they tend to creep up on the sides of my feet, but I still love them! They are well worth the price, considering these tights in a department store run about $18-$20 so BUY these! They are soft,comfortable and GREAT!

These tights are so soft! And they last forever. I've had the same pairs for like 3 years now. They're great and really comfortable. The only problem is the convertible hole stretches out a lot--a little bit too much. The hole starts to creep up the sides of my feet or over my heel. But it's worth it for how long they last.

These are the only tights I will wear! They breathe well, and don't rip [unless you get something sharp snagged on them]
We have to wear these at my studio, but none of us would want to wear anything else!

These are the only tights I get. They are very soft and pretty durable. They are great for performances and in class. The only down side is that they tend to have small runs at the slit in the foot, but nail polish stops the run easily. I have never had a huge run in them or anything and I can't tell which tights I have had for a few years and which I just got. I love these tights!

We are sure getting a kick out of the varying reviews on this tight. My daughter has been wearing these for over 3 years. (We've moved to the adult size s/m.) We cannot understand how anyone can NOT like these. They don't run, they fit snug, but in a good way, and they machine wash! They are soft and durable. Perhaps the other reviewers were buying them too small?

I bought these tights and I love them! They are really soft and the convertible hole on the bottom is a great size for transitioning. I have to go from the dance team at my school to ballet and these work out really well. I recommend these to anyone!

My studio requires that we wear these tights and I LOVE them! I have been wearing them for 5 years and have never had a better brand of tights! They have the perfect amount of stretch, and never lose the stretchiness. They come in several colors, and by far are the greatest, most comfortable tights!

These tights were okay. They had a nice color to them. However, they didn't seem to stretch as much as I wished they would. The waistband dug in a little bit, but not too bad. Also, the convertible foot hole was HUGE. It was practically the size of the entire bottom of my foot. Also, the seam at the toes was really uncomfortable, especially for pointe. Bodywrappers tights are much more stretchy, and comfortable.

I've been wearing Capezio tights for most of my dance training. When I was really young, we used these thick, shiny, very unflattering tights. These tights are not like that at all! They are really comfortable. I don't even feel them, and they are great for me because I have multiple kinds of dance classes, and they don't bother me when rolled up. They do get ripped, but it doesn't really matter to me. I always save an extra pair for my recitals and competitions.

I Love these tights. I have had one pair run from the convertible hole the first time I pulled my foot out, but that was one pair out of five. Overall, they are very comfortable and warm, but do buy one size bigger than you may normally wear!

It's a good thing they have these tights in cocoa; because, if they didn't, I'd have to wear tights that don't match my skin tone. I agree with one of the previous reviews, that they should make more tights for African Americans.

When you get the right size, I give these tights a 5, but they definitely run small. I'm 5'8" with muscular legs, but I only way 120. I assumed I needed a medium, but when I tried them on, they were too small. I definitely suggest that you read the size chart!

These are a really nice color and very soft. I ordered a S/M, but they were pretty small. But the L/XL is rather large on me. I think I'll go back to Danskin tights after these.

I got these for my ballet class (which is only two hours a week) and they ran after my second class! It ran all over my entire foot, but I put clear nail polish on them and the runs stopped. Overall, these tights are VERY comfortable.

There is nothing good about these Capezio tights at all. They are completely uncomfortable, make stick legs look fat, are a terrible color, and don't stretch. If you dance a lot and want your worn out legs to look fabulous and be comfortable, don't buy these tights!

These are the best tights EVERRR. They have outlasted my other tights because they stretch to keep a perfect fit. Other tights stretch too but tend to lose their stretchiness after a while. I can't express to u the amazingness of this product. WOHOO

It felt so natural and soft when I tried it on. It really did feel like a second skin, and it was so easy to move around in, I felt completely flexible. All the tights I've ever had were scratchy and made me cold, these actually help me retain my warmth! I love these!

These are the best tights I've ever tried. They're really soft and provide good support. I found these a bit hard to get into but once you get them on, they stay like the 2nd skin! I got them in pink and it is a very, very pretty pink, not orangy and not too dark, not too shiny. Love them!

These tights are great!
I have three pairs in pink. They stand great through abuse of a washing machine. The convertible hole isn't too small and they fit great. Though some pairs don't last as long or as well as others, they are still great!

Soft, comfy, and quick to get in

These are my favorite tights so far. I like them because they are true to their "ultra soft" name. They're very stretchy, soft, and will accommodate a larger thigh and hips area (I'm over their largest size range but they still fit me). They have a quirky life span though, some of them have lasted only a few months while the longest (my black ones) has lasted for over a year without runs. They are the easiest and quickest to put on of all of my tights, but my biggest complaint would be the waist band is a bit tight and causes a band of narrowness that shows under my leotard. I never felt that the convertible hole was too small or cut off my circulation, though.

I hate these. The waistband cuts into me, and they are itchy. And when I try to roll them up, they cut into my skin because the convertible hole isn't big enough. And they are not soft at all. The only tights I like are PrimaSoft or Danskin. I do not recommend you buy tights without trying them on in a store first!!!

Love these tights. I have them in black for over the leotard, and the waist comes up nice and high, so I can fold it over or have it up. They're really soft. I did have to cut the foot hole so it didn't cut off the circulation in my leg when I rolled them up, though.

I've tried a few other brands, but none lasted. I bought my first pair two years ago, and after wearing them daily (switching between 2 pairs for 2 school years), both pairs have small holes--and that's it! I machine washed mine and they have held up through all the abuse. A good buy for those who are on a budget. I will now only wear these, as tights are quite expensive and I know that these last for a long time. They are thick! I, however, like this because I am inflexible, so it helps my legs warm up more quickly, so stretching isn't as painful.

These are the only kind of convertible tights I own. They're very soft and comfortable, but they rip very easily, at least for me. I still wear them when they're riddled with holes (it's not that bad, really), but I get a new pair for performances. I'd recommend buying a few, just in case.

I decided to buy these tights because I already bought and tried every other Capezio tights (nylon, nylon/lycra). So far, these tights are simply the best! They're incredibly soft, yet strong enough to last for years. I'd recommend this to ANYONE!

I like these tights very much! I got my first pair in 2003, and I still have them. The hole in the bottom on the foot does tend to stretch if you are not careful with it. The color has faded a little bit, they were originally black, but, they are still quite black!

These tights are very hard to get into, but once they are on, they feel very soft and comfortable. Wash them by hand--my tights turned gray after a few uses. Also, they are very run resistant.

These are the only tights I wear now. I have tried other tights and these tights ROCK! They are very soft and stretch well, so they're easy to get into (as easy as getting into tights goes). The only bad thing about these tights is the foot hole is big, so sometimes my heel goes through the hole, but other than that no problems. They are also good for pointe, you don't have to completely take your tights off to take out your spacers.

These tights are really nice but the color does not match my skin. I'm an African American dancer and I would like to know where I can get tights without having to die them and why is it that they don't make tights for dark skinned African American women. So if you're dark skinned, do not order suntan because that is the color the woman told me to order and it doesn't come close so, I'm gonna try cocoa and see how that works.

These tights are very comfortable, I love that they are affordable and come in an arrangement of colors. But the convertible part of the tights always seems to come up to the sides of my foot, so when I put on my slippers you can see the sides of my foot, partially. But in general they are great.
